Handy for resturant next door No leisure facilities, also was further from the nec than we thought otherwise it was fine. |

good location, close to NEC, easy to book and fair price inc. breakfast, room was clean but quite shabby. the bed was extreamly uncomfortable so I would not be staying at an 'Express by Holiday inn' again |

The shuttle from the NEC Arena was a very poor service. 7 of us were standing in the pouring rain for over an hour. 4 phonecalls to the hotel to ask what was happening did not help - we were repeatedly told it was on it's way to pick us up, so did not have the chance to seek shelter. |

relaxed, and also the service of the complimentary bus service to nec. Not supplying an alternative to dairy milk, lots of people are dairy intolerant so a chocie of soya milk would be a good idea. |

Staff were very helpful, despite being busy I booked a twin room and got a double with a sofa bed. Because I was sharing the room with someone I was not particularly well acquainted with, I was forced to spend the night on a very uncomfortable sofa bed - it wasn't even level. |

the room was very nice, and would of been good if we could have gotten ajoining rooms but the staff were very helpful as they did try to find us ajoining rooms i didnt like the very high prices at the bar!! |

Very courteous and friendly staff and a comfortable clean room. Also a nice breakfast in pleasant surroundings. Not with the hotel but the suggested restaurant next door (Little Owl) was a complete circus with appalling customer service in stark contrast to the hotel. Tried to reserve a table for seven and was told they didn't reserve tables but when we arrived to eat, we saw other tables reserved. We waited over half an hour before a member of staff made any attempt to get us seated. They told us there was a table for eight coming free and showed us to it but just as we were about to sit down, four people, who had just arrived, sat down before us. The member of staff said there was nothing she could do about it. From that point onwards, the staff avoided us and made no attempt to get us seated so we left and went elsewhere. |

Ease of access to the NEC and the motorways, cleanliness of the hotel in general, the friendly and helpful staff, use of the complimentary bus service from the NEC, the reasonable cost of the room with a decent continental breakfastand finally it,s location next to a friendly decent and decent pub the Little Owl. |

Location was excellent for the NEC We were mislead about the times of the shuttle buses to the NEC. The room was booked for a family of four and was only made up for two people. It was also very small and only had a shower - no bath. |

The free shuttle to the NEC, also the parking was £1 cheaper than at the NEC car park. As we finished at 15:30, couldn't use the free shuttle to get back though. Couldn't believe smoking rooms still exist and that they can smell that bad, couldn't have had any windows open in the corridor or room. Thankfully we were able to change to a different room than what we had been originally allocated as a twin room is allocated upon arrival. |

Design of bathroom (dual purpose door), breakfast - (ease, choice, quality), room was very quiet - good hotel design and soundproofing. Little Owl restaurant next door was excellent and very comfortable. |

Stay was good for purpose for us but the shuttle bus needs to be bigger as there were a lot of people attending the NEC for the various exhibitions and 8 seat mini bus is not big enough. Needed info about restaurants to visit locally as no restaurant on site. |

i did not like the parking fee,i have never payed a parking fee at any hotel i have stayed in.the girl on reception said i did not have to pay a fee when i questioned it on arrival yet i had to pay on check out. |
