Staff are professional and helpful.

Basis hotel, overpriced for what is on offer. Location was not as per map on Booking.com, it was 1.4km away, near entrance to Airport. Picture on Booking.com is not hotel as I did not see any pond in front with fountain unless it has recently been filled in for a car park. No onsite food (excluding crisps and chocolate bars) if you arrive after 21:30. Reception will call out for takeaway, however food took 40 minutes for a Dominos, was cold when arrived and overpriced.

Thought would be a lot closer to nec. Disapointed had to pay for car park.

Breakfast was nice.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help. I booked 2 rooms and requested them to be next to each other which they accommodated. Also let us check in early. This hotel was ideal as it was only about 5mins drive to lg Arena. They offer a complimentary shuttle bus service from the train station to the hotel. Also breakfast was included in the price.

We had paid a great deal of money for a basic hotel due the 'Gadget Show' event taking place, we did not mind this, but then had expectations that staff would be friendly and helpful instead of sullen, bored and uninterested.

When I booked I noticed almost that i had made a mistake with the dates! and called within a minute of making the booking. The refused point blank to allow me to change the booking and charged me for the extra night I did not need. I am a regular traveller and on the road for 2 weeks per month this means i will probably not be interested in dealing with holiday inn again!

It was reasonably priced and breakfast was better than expected.

It was not close enough to lg Arena and the shuttle bus was full when went to use it to get to arena and stopped running for return, so had to get a taxi. The bar food on return from show was only pizza, the vending machines were not working properly and there were no draught beers or lager.

Very friendly. Extremely clean and brilliant value for money. I would definitely return and would certainly recommend to friends and family.

Taxi to city center cost 20 quid.....train back cost a fiver,

I found the man who checked us in to be abrupt and rude. Not a very pleasant welcome at all. The noise from other guests was absolutely disgusting. Frustrated that I couldn't purchase internet usage with a debit card. Only a credit card facility was available.

Shuttle bus was a good touch as was the pub in the grounds. The reception staff were very friendly and helpfull.

The shower head leaked badly and the shower tray did not drain well. The tv has a broken speaker that rattles noisey and breakfast was a bit rubbish.

Poor breakfast. Only small selection of cerial, toast, beans, sausage and egg. Breads.

The location only

The food quality is awful, no free wifi. The rooms were clean and tidy although it took me all of my time to get a double, even though I confirmed it on the morning of my travel. I spent the first night in a twin with a duvet that didnt fit, I turned over and by backside was exposed and I am not a big girl. Many of the electrical sockets didnt work well in the room either. I paid in full on Booking.com you cant make the booking without paying and they made me pay again because they could not see it on their system. I now need to go back and track the payment which is a huge in time killer not to mention the unpleasant conversation at the front desk with a huge queue. Not a great experience at all. I would recomment hie to very low budget travellers only who do not expect anything more than a bed and bath. For business people definately not.
