Comfortable room with a sofa and nice and fresh breakfast. Very clean.
So far from the city centre.
Location to final destination
no restaurant and nearby facilities are poor.
Is what it is. No frills, very clean, perfectly comfy budget hotel a few miles out of town.
Partner complained of noise in corridors. I expected it ( saturday night, large hotel by football stadium)and wore earplugs so wasn't disturbed. No bacon at breakfast and odd sausages.
Easy to book, check in etc
Hot breakfast bar would be better if bacon, tomato, mushrooms available, would have made breakfast good rather than just ok.
Room exceptionally clean! Oldest son (23) who wasn't going to make it, did! Within minutes of request sofa bed was made and we did not incur extra charge! Would definitely stay when in Oxford again! PS brand name toiletries!
Breakfast was very good
it was lovely
wifi wasnt working properly
The room I was eventually checked into was clean and comfortable. The free Wi-Fi is definately a bonus. The free breakfast was plentiful and regularly updated
Unfortunately the first room I was allocated was already occupied and though soon rectified, it was annoying having to go down to the reception to report this! I would have liked a bath but only shower cubicles offered. The breakfast room is busy and quickly needs dirty plates to be cleared which doesn't always happen as quick as it should be
Staff provided helpful information sheets with excellent directions to nearby facilities.
Nit picking - but my wife was unable to squeeze the shampoo bottle in the bathroom, although it was a lovely shower
Free Wi-Fi simple to use
location & breakfast
the mattress was very uncomfortable difficult to get a good nights sleep after being out all day .Premier Inn has much better mattresses
Friendly, helpful staff, including the lady who was clearing the breakfast tables. Makes such a difference when people smile at you.
Holiday in express is exactly that somewhere to stay for a shirt period of time clean comfortable staff are great
Very poor staff was very rude and my stay was not too pleasant
The standard of accommodation and cleanliness. The courtesy of the reception staff.
No bacon for breakfast! It was also a bit of a trek to get into the centre of Oxford. Factor in £10 each way for a taxi.
It was clean and comfortable!
Quiet, well located, plenty of parking, well maintained
Breakfast arrangements totally inadequate - chaotic, not enough staff, had run out of cutlery and crockery, and most food items. Serving area far too small.
How clean the room was and breakfast
Bed was very comfy!! Shower was very powerful which was great!
Clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was overcrowded and the staff looked very stressed. Food was poor and everything was cibstanky running out, cutlery included. The space is way too small to accommodate so many people.
Good value, not far from Oxford if you are driving, good parking, comfortable clean room, enjoyed the breakfast - hotel did what it said on the tin really.
Physical location was a bit grim but not a lot you can do about that, £1.80 for a packet of crisps is outrageous, I was very peckish and probably would have paid for it but you didn't accept card! I think there should be more food/snack options in the evening.
Great city centre and the hotel was comfortable nice staff
only go one tea bag in the room
Could not fault the Hotel and staff any questions asked got answered
