Located just off exit 13 off highway M6, the Holiday Inn Express Stafford offers affordable accommodations. Bedrooms feature private facilities and Wi-Fi access. The Holiday Inn Stafford has a 24-hour front desk and bedrooms include telephones, hair dryers and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom toiletries are provided and free parking is available. Holiday Inn Express has a lounge bar, which features TVs for major sports events. Beverages, snacks and hot breakfasts are available daily, and there is also a restaurant and pub adjacent to the hotel. Central Stafford and Stafford Train Station is 4 miles away. Cannock Chase and Ingestre Park golf clubs are just a 10-minute drive away, while Alton Towers can be reached in 40 minute drive. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room decor was pleasant. The facilities in the room were excellent. The complimentary breakfast was excellent.

Excellent location, great staff and very comfortable room. Pleasant surprise to find that the pre-arranged sofa bed was already made up in our room. So often you have to wait while it's done even if it was booked as needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a great choice. We had to be in Birmingham the following day and it was an ideal stopping off point after a long journey. Would certainly return and would use holiday inn express again.

The location was ideal and very easy to find. There were a couple of stains on the couch in the room and a dirty tissue left on the side of the sink.

Convenient for traveling in any direction. Not too noisy even though it was next to the motorway. Staff were very helpful. Choice of breakfast food was good. Able to bring in food and eat within the hotel - cutlery and plates provided. Complementary toiletries, didn't use, but nice to know they were available. A little bit on the expensive side considering we were just using to sleep and leave after breakfast. Didn't need a lot of the facilities which were available.

Friendly competent staff who really noticed you. Great breakfast. Eco friendly Liked the notice in the bathrrom offering toiletries if forgotten - a good solution to having stuff out that people don't need. It was a very cold weekend but because the hotel has budget furniture it feld colder.

Clean, comfy hotel.. Friendly staff, ok for the price.. Pub adjacent to pub was closed for refurbishment, but not advised at the time of booking. The hotel ran out of draught and bottled lager, then ran out of bitter, leaving only cider as an alternative!!!

Convenient location - easy access to motorway No heating in the bathroom. I had a room with disabled access for the bathroom but taking a shower in an unheated bathroom is unacceptable. For this reason we would not stay again.

Needed a place to stay just off Mway. This fitted the bill. I must comment that the breakfast was absolutely horrible. The sausages were inedible, coffee dreadful. The eggs were ok though. If I go back I'll bring my own food.

So near to the m6 when travelling to the Lake District from London Not Holiday Inns fault but there was no where near on Boxing Day that was open for meals so we had to have a Domino pizza for our evening meal

Very impressed with staff, facilities and cleanliness. The staff are a credit to the company. We will certainly use Holiday Inn Express again. In our opinion it certainly beats Travel Lodge and Premier Hotels. Pity the rooms do not have baths.
