The staff were friendly. Rooms were spacious, however the bed was very soft and back was sore in morning.

Very pet friendly x The breakfast...just a little more choice like cheese or ham (cold meat) would have been nice with a continental breakfast

The location was convenient for what we wanted. There was little else to recommend it. Although I am a Priority Club member I was allocated a room opposite the lift - we asked to be moved and we were but I would have expected better. The car park entry system was difficult. I am disabled and reaching the button to allow the barrier to lift was difficult for me. Someone more disabled than I would have found it impossible.

Easy parking, Nice staff, Good clean room well laid out. The kettle in room 105 did not work, so when we returned at 23.00 gasping for a cup of tea, it was a big disappointment.

They have done very well indeed because the hotel was impossible to fault, considerably better than ones costing a lot lot more. Well done to the management and staff.

Extremely convenient location, just off j13 of m6, though you can hardly hear any motorway traffic from the bedrooms. Good noise-proofing internally, good service from staff, adequate facilities. Cooked breakfast comprised merely of poor quality sausages, watery scrambled egg and baked beans - and disgusting coffee: for little extra outlay, I could have done with some bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, hash browns? The pain-au-raisin & croissants, however, were delicious!

Pet friendly, staff very friendly, Smoke alarm going off , at 6.20 am , nothing from the staff to say it was a false alarm and no fire drill evacuation procedure taken place, could prove to be fatal one day as from the talk the fire alarm seems to go off if a shower has been left running and a door ajar, no staff doing any fire drill procedure or reassurance this was a false alarm, we were on top floor with child and dog, if this is a regular problem I would expect the company to be looking at why so many false alarms are going off to where staff and people are ignoring the alarms. I have actually been in a hotel on top floor when a fire took hold which did not leave much time for evacuation, if this had been the case for your hotel then there would be many casualtys, action is needed to address this problem urgently

I was delighted with your hotel, as I was allowed to keep my dogs in my room, caged. It is a dreadful worry to have to leave them in the car. It was close to the venue for the Dog Show at Stafford Showgrounds, and I will be telling all my doggy show friends to stay with you, when entered in the Stafford area. Itravelled from Ireland by ferry, and your hotel was in a lovely qquiet area. I was delighted with it. See you next year!!!!!. Katherine.

Very convenient overnight stop for long distance travellers or place to link up with others. Would also be convenient and comfortable for leisure travellers wishing to explore rural Staffordshire, Cannock Chase etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good foyer area including small bar and excellent large tv. Rooms well fitted. Good quality free wifi is laid on throughout the hotel. Breakfast a self service affair but well stocked and including hot food. Two restaurants on the site, one Chinese and the other general fare. I used the Chinese one and found the food fine though the staff more or less indifferent to customers, quite unlike staff at the hotel itself. For the price this hotel is excellent value and good quality. I have nothing negative to say about it.

It was my second visit and my partner's first. The rooms are simple, pleasant, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The choice of pillows is a good idea. Only the limited breakfast selection. I would like wider options even at an extra price.

Staff were friendly and efficient. The room was a good size and had all the essentials. The bathroom was clean, the shower strong and the water hot. The breakfast was good value and a good selection. We didn't like the large number of dogs that were staying in the hotel. I appreciate it was Crufts and these were probably pedigree dogs, but allowing the dogs to sleep in the bedrooms was quite off-putting. The corridor to the bedroom smelt and we felt that there was every likelihood that dogs had been in our room and slept on bed or chairs. Some owners took their dogs into the seating area by the restaurant and this put us off having an evening drink before going to bed.
