The low-priced Collin House is in chic Belgravia, just 5 minutes' walk from Victoria coach and train stations. It is basic, yet convenient for Central London and the amenities of Belgravia.

Good location, close to Victoria station, shops, restaurant - still quiet
Window is not well insulated, so it was drafty No hanger in the room Water temperature is not stable Small room, not cleaned throughly
Room was clean and close to Victoria bus, train and underground.
We had top floor which was nine flights of stairs, room far too small, would not recommend for anyone who cannot maneuver stairs or are a bit claustrophobic. Make sure you ask for ground floor room.
I like the location of hotel which near the coach station, underground and bus station. Outside the hotel, the street is quiet and cleaner than the surrounding main roads.
Bathroom/toilet far too cramped. Could not stand up in the bathroom/toilet. Kitchen area and toilet too close. Practically sitting on top of another. No lobby between which I believe to be mandatory. Insufficient towels. No hand towel in bathroom. Entrance very dull.
The location was good
Room was dirty and not cleaned my entire 7 day stay. Very noisy from other guests slamming doors and running in the corridor. I complained but it didn't stop until 1am. Not well maintained with water heater leaking and spraying in the shower. Bathroom very small basically you had to back into it. The list of problems goes on and on...
Location, price, size of room
Hallways were filthy.
Wifi 5 pounds a day for one device!?! If you would like to leave your luggage after check out for few hours - 4 pounds for each bag. Basically they are charging for EVERYTHING
No lift and in the basement, smell of mould
Location is great, near Victoria station, nice cafes and pubs nearby. Bathroom was new, and efficient for the small space.
The hot water cut out during my shower, and it was freezing. To me this is the most unforgivable thing a hotel can do. No free wifi, paid wifi was available but over priced. Room looked clean at first, but somehow I got clumps of dust on my socks from walking around. The sound isolation is terrible, I could hear the next room over making tea, and when they opened the door it sounded like my own room door opening. The window doesn't close properly, so the noise from the traffic on the road outside would wake me up in the morning.
Location, staff and cleanliness all excellent.
Limited space in bedroom and bathroom.
The set out of the room we had with the separate bathroom was great. A little small but we still enjoyed the stay and the surroundings.
Room was a little warm and window would not open.
Price to high for very poor layout of rooms and cramped conditions. Had to sit on toilet and bend head sideways under poorly located mirror above sink to be able to clean teeth or wash face. No vent working in toilet or shower
Had to share the bathroom with 12 other rooms... TV had like 4 channels. Room not clean, extremely small. Staff doesn't care. Internet did not work (could not get access) even though they charged 5 GBP. no atmosphere. Next time I pay a little more for a fine hotel.
Friendly staff, very helpful. Will be back again
When got to the room, there were several valuables on one of the beds, and Abit of a mess, near the sink but after I popped downstairs to discuss if this was our room, the guy on the desk couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.
Room was very dirty and small. Noisy.
"Ensuite" turned out to be a cupboard built inside the bedroom just big enough for a small shower and a loo. Sink was metal industrial kitchen sink across the bedroom. Room did not feel very secure. No hairdryer. No room phone to phone reception to tell them no hairdryer. Had to go out on to the street and back round to receptiion which is located in different building to ask for hairdryer. They had run out, but then in the end borrowed one from hotel next door. Not worth the £115 I paid for a double ensuite.
Location to the coach staion was just as promised if not better just around the corner , Bed was very very comfy, with lovely crisp white clean bedding, En-suite very modern, compact clean , and Mini toiletries provided should you wish to use them, 2 large clean white bath towels provided, Kettle with ample tea ,coffee, milk and sugar. Tv with good choice of tv programmes Heating in room , that you control yourself ,should you want to use it, Lovely modern clean wooden floors Night reception service was excellent , and early wake up call was not a problem and on time, The room was small which I knew when booking, all I wanted was a clean comfortable bed for a night with ensuite and the hotel delivered above my expectations I feel the negative reviews of this hotel are very unfair,if only the small faults were pointed out to the hotel this would enable them to rectify them Overall I was very happy part from the few small things I have pointed out, but would not hesitate to reccomend the hotel and I will definitely be using it again
I would of appreciated being shown to my room rather than directed to where it was, There were 2 male members of staff on duty at time of check in, I would of really really appreciated help to carry my really heavy suitcase down the stairs to my basement room, it really was a struggle for me bouncing my case down narrow stairs one at a time, as I have a. Serious spinal prob with my back and am unable to lift, My window never had a view as in basement not a problem as I was only there for a nights sleep , But I was a bit concerned that in stead of glass it had a piece of Perspex screwed to the frame and on inspection it was covering a smashed window pane behind, Also the net curtains could really of done with a wash very dirty, As I said it was a basement room I feel if they had painted the wall outside the window white it would really brighten the room up, and I feel a pane of glass for security should be fitted to replace this piece of plastic Perspex,as it really did frighten me to think that was the only thing stopping anyone getting into the room, from the outside. It would of looked so much nicer also, The bed was comfy and bedding clean, but no mattress or pillow protectors, not a biggy as bedding was spotlessly clean and fresh, but it-would save the hotel a lot of time and money replacing them, There were a few screws on wall were I imagine had been lamps above the bed taken out, If these were removed holes filled and painted, the window fixed net curtain washed and the outside wall painted probably half a days work, and the offer of carrying luggage to room, the price could be increased per night.
First floor shared bathroom Dirty walls in the room
Rooms are too small. We've been given a room in the basement, for which we couldn't even open the window. No shower gel or anything like that in the bathroom either.
size of rooms, TINY
Like a prison cell
Location was fantastic, very close to Victoria Station.
Room was very small. The "ensuite" was just a tiny closet. We could barely fit inside to use the toilet. The room was very basic, and it looked much nicer online. The mattress was showing at the bottom of the bed with a massive stain. The room was up 3 or 4 flights of stairs with no lift. Wifi was an extra charge
Easy access to Victoria Coach.
excellent location, near transport links, clean room
rooms not sound proof. maybe they are just too loud but can hear people next room making sounds you dont want to hear especially when you are with children.
