Score from 2669 reviews Very good
Location was good for our visit
Very noisy at night , rooms small but adequate
Rapid check-in & check-out
Wafer thin walls - noise from other rooms.
The location is excellent and the hotel is clean.
The double room was tiny and the bed was up against a wall so not the most comoftable for the person on the inside. The room was also very noisy, but it was on a major rooad. It is a budget hotel but the ads dont give that impression.
Staff were very efficient and polite. Very clean. Excellent location.
tiny room might have just been ok for a single but as a double it was a no go. We could not stand next to each other in the room it was so small. One side of the bed was against the wall so you had to climb over your partner to get out of bed. Would not pay for this room again at any price.
Great point to start your trip close to Kensington a big bus tour is a must
Room was to small had to climb over one another bed was pushed up against the wall. Windows only opened a couple of inches
It was a perfect location for an evening at the Royal Albert Hall.
The lack of personal touch!
Great loctaion and friendly staff
The location and flexibility
The size of the room. I booked a double room for myself. It is a good job there was only me because the bed was against the wall and a second occupant of the bed would have had to climb across to get into it.
It was very close to the museums, and easy to get to Victoria station.
Compact, efficient room, quiet Easy to adjust heat, a-c Room-darkening drapery Good mattress, duvet
Desk staff unhelpful, e.g. which terminal did United Airlines use- didn't know, didn't volunteer to find out 7am wake-up request rang at 7:15 Breakfast pastries were stale Coffee machine dispensed dreadful coffee, staff grumbled when we arrived 7:20 instead of 7:30am, altho it was self-serve & all was ready - no 'good morning'
Very convenient location.
Room in the basement, extremely small, no chair at a desk.
It appeared to be fairly modern
The hotel was massively over priced for what you got well over £100 for one night for one person with no breakfast. For that money breakfast should be included as a bare minimum.
Excellent location. 5 min walk to South Kensington station which is on the Picadilly line, connecting to Heathrow airport. The hotel had a lift, which was a relief, as we had seen reviews of other hotels that only had stairs...
We had the twin room, beds were arranged lengthwise like a train sleeping berth, long and narrow. Wifi was not working except for short bursts of a few minutes in the early morning.
Very good location. Friendly staff. Clean and cosy room.
Was a good location, room was ok and staff very friendly and helpfull.
Rooms were on the small side and also was abit disappointed that the hotel doesn't have parking as it stated in the search.
Good location, 5 minutes walk from underground. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Good powerful shower. Basic continental breakfast but good quality.
Room was very small - I think there are larger rooms, ours was on a stairwell. OK for one night but not for longer stay.
No thing just the Cromwell street was Amazing
Every things in the hotel in fact it's the worst hotel I ever in
Nothing was as expected ! No wifi at all, too much noice from the rooms, complete lack of insulation, no chair in the room, cold was coming from the window, bad service in general !
Please see above ! It was a terrible choice to go at this hotel !!!
Good location. Helpful reception staff.
Breakfast poor. Went down to breakfast within the time period specified and there was very little left. No eggs and no croissants. We asked the member of staff if she could get anymore for us she said no. Still got charged £7.50 per person. The runner on my bed was stained and the walls in the room were marked and needed a coat of paint.
Wi_Fi didn't work. Towels. Room too small.
The location was good as it was close to the Museums and the Royal Albert Hall
They gave us a basement room, which was noisy, and the wifi didnt work
very small room with small double bed right up against the wall
It was clean.
The size of your room for the price was extremely small. I couldn't access wifi on my laptop because they didn't have new plug in cords that work for modern laptops.
Clean and friendly with respectful staff. Good price for london.
The mattress and pillows were not to my likeing.
Located within a safe and beautiful part of London close to shops, parks and train station but that's as much as I can compliment this Hotel.
First and foremost the staff were cold and unfriendly. I felt that they were unapproachable and uninviting and not happy people, although I did hear them chatting and laughing amongst each other. They should take a look at Austalias awesome tourism industry and how we value our travellers by the way we take care of our tourists-I will not return to this Hotel for this reason alone! You work in a customer service industry, it wouldn't hurt for you to fake a smile and say hello to your guests. Secondly, I accept that the cost per night is reasonable but it is a shoebox room. Toilet didn't flush properly, lights were too dim and when the neighbours returned from a night out in the wee hours of the morn I thought they were in my room...we could hear everything next door! Just not a good vibe here...sorry guys but that's the truth!!
