A beautiful area with ancient forest, a local honey maker, an amazing selection of local shops - refillery, bookshop, stationery shop, big supermarket. This is a lovely place to stay to explore the Cairngorm national park. Easy to drive to highlights like Rothy Murchus and Loch Garten. Also lots of other adjacent areas like Nethy Bridge, Forres and Findhorn.

Beautiful area to spend time in.
Beautiful area to spend time in. The town is small, has some nice walks and cute cafes. It's in a gorgeous location surrounded by the Cairngorms so I definitely recommend for a weekend getaway, or even a few nights to get yourself out in nature.

Room nice size breakfast good apart from one morning...
Room nice size breakfast good apart from one morning waitress not very friendly and nothing was replaced when empty had to ask and she didn’t look to pleased. The other mornings for breakfast we had a different waitress called Shelia completely different everything was no trouble for her very pleasant and friendly. Location good we had to collect milk from reception everyday but was told on arrival it would be bought to our room. A good morning from reception would have been nice . Ate here once nice but they ran out of steak

A pleasant and quiet town with trees and walks.
A pleasant and quiet town with trees and walks. Eating places in the main street appeared to be limited and we dined in our hotel. Grantown is conveniently located for the attractions of the Cairngorms and the Moray coast. Inverness is within an hour or so's drive.

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We had a good sized, clean and very comfortable room. The food was tremendous!! Fantastic quality and the right quantity. I had the scallops and a fillet steak and it couldn’t be faulted. Perfection on a plate!! The staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly, polite and a credit to the establishment. We would definitely not hesitate in recommending the Garth Hotel, and will return at some point I’m sure.
Everything about this stay was perfect! Cozy stay with fun and attentive hosts… plus an amazing breakfast! We really could not have had a better time. You can tell they really put so much love and thought into every detail throughout the stay. The hosts also had some fantastic recommendations and were wonderfully knowledgeable about any topic (that we thought of) to further our experience of Scotland. Thank you both for having us!!!
You will not find two more detail-oriented, thoughtful and generous hosts than Thomas and Ben. This stay was exceptional and the breakfast was equal to any five-star dining experience we’ve had in all of Scotland. The owners went above and beyond to return a treasured item back to us that we’d forgotten after we left Grantown. We highly recommend staying at the Rossmor on any trip to the Cairngorms.
Beautiful location. Handy for the town, just a few minutes drive from Grantown on Spey. Scenery stunning. Cottage is right next to woods. The kitchen looks out onto birdfeeders, visited by red squirrels, woodpeckers and great tits. Accommodation is contemporary and very comfoortable. Particularly comfortable beds. Hosts are welcoming and very helpful, their house is on the same site.
David and Beate are really nice and made our stay just perfect. The room is very big and the bed is very comfy. The breakfast was fantastic and freshly prepared. Haus Alba is in the middle of Grantown on Spey and you have different places to drink and eat near by. Information are provided by David and Beate in a guest folder in the room. We can definitely recommend this B&B.
The location was great as we participated in activities at Nethy Bridge. It was also very close to the Grantown Museum. As the day was rainy it was most beneficial. Great location in the town as well! The staff was also very accommodating. We arrived at the hotel when the restaurant had just closed. They kept the restaurant open for us which was most appreciated.
Staff were really accommodating.
The receptionist was very professional and really helped with my query. Rooms were changed as the shower was not working and the staff were really helpful.
We eat at the hotel during our stay. The restaurant staff were so friendly and loved having a chat with them. Truly made us feel welcome. The food was well presented.
We stayed in 8 hotels during out tour of Scotland and Ravenscourt House was our favorite. Nic was an excellent host. We loved the bar, the breakfast and the onsite restaurant which we ate at our first night. Nic was very helpful and and always available. He mixed us Gin and tonics and lent us ice packs to treat our injuries lol. Loved it here.
The B&B was perfect. Great location, amazing food (the avacado/tomato on homemade bread was amazing)
Thomas was a wonderful host; he went above and beyond and nothing was any trouble. He secured us a dinner reservation at a near by restaurant for the first night, which was also amazing.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Excellent location in Grantown on Spey easy access to Cairngorms National Park and local walking trails. Accommodation was very comfortable and spacious with excellent amenities including dishwasher, washing machine, TV/internet/ streaming channels and modern kitchen. Local shops just a few minutes walk and also many places to eat.
This is one of those grand old hotels with plaid carpeting, stag decor, and photos of birds. They bill themselves the wildlife hotel. They can recommend birding spots. You right next to the Cairngorms and about 30 miles from Culloden. Lovely dinner followed by several drams of the local whiskies in the cozy bar.
We really enjoyed our one night stay at The Speyside Hotel. We enjoyed a couple of drinks while sitting outside in the sun and then went for dinner in the hotel. Had a great nights sleep in the huge comfy bed and had a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning before leaving. We would definitely stay again
Great location within easy walking distance of local amenities yet a quiet pleasant neighbourhood. Nearby woods and the lovely river Spey good for walking. Easy driving distance to mountains and lochs and not too far from the coast. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. We were extremely comfortable.
Everything really. The stay was lovely. The owners were very nice good laugh to. The food was delectable the drinks were cheep and enjoyable. I would definitely highly recommend this to book for anyone. One of the finest hotels in Grantown on-spey ✌
Everything about this place was amazing and unique! I would recommend this Country House Hotel to anyone who is planning on staying in the area, it will not disappoint!
The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Haus Alba is right in the middle of town, close to numerous restaurants. The owners are friendly and very helpful.
