The hotel is very convenient for the centre of Bath, so everything is in easy walking distance. We had to attend a graduation ceremony and needed our room in advance of the normal booking in time of 2.30pm. The hotel kindly allowed us to take our room from 12.30pm in order to give us time to shower and change. We were not given the twin room that had been booked in April, three months prior to the stay. We were given a double room which we had not wanted. The hotel offered to put in an extra single bed, but that would have made the room too cramped. The hotel was by now fully booked and they could not exchange our room. The whole point of booking so far in advance was to secure the room we wanted, so this aspect was not satisfactory at all, although the room we were given was cooler than the upstairs rooms and very welcome in the heat. We have stayed at the hotel before and would still do so again. |

excellent location, good breakfast we had a basement room which was pretty dark, but then we didn't spend much time in the room anyway |

Excellent location, very friendly staff, good breakfast. The room was quite small, but this hotel is an excellent choice if that does not matter to you. |

Good location,very central.Lovely breakfast-set us up for the day! Wasn't keen on being down in Basement room but to be fair it was a last minute booking and they were fairly full. |
