Everything. Staff was very nice, room clean and refreshed every day. I will go back definitely some time.
There was no negative impact.
We had a basement room that wasn't below the kitchen, wasn't noisy, wasn't poky, wasn't dark and I could have fitted another 3 people in the shower cubicle with me. If I'd had a cat, I could have swung it in the bedroom and in the bathroom too. I'd read some of the previous reviews of this hotel and wondered what I was going to, but our room was super. If you eat all the breakfast you won't need to eat anything else until evening. Great value for money for its location.
A minor thing - if I'd shut the lovely thick curtains, the radiator would have been behind them rather than warming the room. Having said that, it was frosty when we were there and the room was lovely and warm.
Edgar House is in a great location, amongst beautiful Bath architecture on a quiet but central street. Only about 400 to 500 yards from the weir, abbey and city centre shops. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was good, and we even got on street parking in a permit holders' bay for just £8 for the whole weekend (provided by the hotel).
At c.£150 per night for B&B for 2 it was good value but not excellent value. However, there are far more expensive options at this time of year and the location can't be faulted.
Hotel is situated in a excellent location five minutes walk from the City centre, but a quiet location. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Good tasty Breakfast.
The room was small with a tiny bathroom.
Being offered a foisty room with a cracked window in the basement initially, despite booking well in advance. Second room bathroom no fixed shower head and very tight to manoeuvre getting out of the bath even though we are slim and agile
Was in an ideal location
Room was a bit noisy from outside traffic
Staff was very helpful, and breakfast was both delicious and quick so that we could get on with our plans for the day. The location was close to the places we wanted to see, and was reasonably quiet.
We were on the 4th floor with no elevator, but that is the norm and we knew that when we reserved our room. We were glad we packed light!
Wonderful location. Staff very helpful and friendly.Gluten free bread was available.
Felt a little rushed at breakfast and being on a gluten free diet a gluten free breakfast cereal and maybe gluten free sausage would have been appreciated.
Excellent location.friendly experience in beautiful Bath
The staff were friendly and helpful, and gave us a parking sticker for the stay and a few hours after checkout which really helped. CLose to the centre of town. The mushrooms for breakfast were delicious
There was no lift
Ideal location to visit attractions of Bath
The location was nice, though you need to walk to the train station, it is really close to the town centre, particularly Pulteney Bridge, and it is located in the quiet neighbourhood. The room was clean and cosy. We really liked the breakfast (moreover, it was included in the price, which is not the case in some hotels), as it had a wide variety of dishes and was really tasty. The staff was nice and friendly. They also provided us with the card when we checked in, which was a nice surprise, that gave us an opportunity to enjoy discounts at specific reataurants and attractions (such Thermae Bath and Roman Baths).
Staff were friendly, even charming. V. good breakfasts. Central location.
Room rather small and unwelcoming.
The welcome. Breakfast
Sink plug that did not plug. Those stairs, those stairs! Mantrap step into wet room.
The townhouse was in a very central location. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location, short walk to town centre. Good firm mattresses. 2 out of 3 of the staff we interacted with were great.
VERY small room. A fold out cot style bed was provided for my daughter and was too small for her. And when the bed was set up, you could barely walk across the room to the toilet. Not a great Value for the money we spent.
Excellent location to city and all tourist areas. Beds comfortable Staff friendly
Ensuite the size of a cupboard Shower temperamental water flow - especially in morning ( we were offered a room change and plumber called)
Breakfast excellent Clean Good position
Extremely small room! You could not move or open the suitcase! Expensive for such a small room, not mentioned in the details as a disadvantage !
Very comfy bed and thick white bathroom towels
Bathroom a bit bare and dated but clean
Great location. We had a quadruple room which was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and had a variety of foods. We enjoyed walking to the Roman Bath and the shops near the cathedral.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Have recommended it to friends.
Bathroom small and needed more shelving.
Location is very good, parking possible in the street, center just a short walk away. Staff is very friendly and helpful, breakfast excellent.
