Breakfast was ok. The shabbiness of reception, the off-handedness of the receptionist, the fact that my room was not serviced and no apology was offered.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was in a convenient location. The staff were friendly and it had secure parking. There was not enough complimentary tea and coffee and were not able to provide extra milk when requested. The public areas have the feel of a place that is trying to improve on a limited budget. The back door could do with replacing as this gives the first impression of being run-down.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment. Very purse friendly for an over night staff :-) The carpet on the stairs needs replacing - shabby and dirty. Shower had hair in the tray - hand towel also had a very long hair hanging from it. Only had one curtain on the window and the rod was missing on the blind so unable to open them.

This hotel really is the pits, the reviews are correct! The staff are poor with not an ounce of friendliness or professionalism about them. Staying here makes you feel grubby, like the rooms and general environment. Specifically, if you are looking for a shower then go elsewhere due to the lack of water pressure. Didn't have breakfast due to the terrible reviews so cannot comment on that. Please please stay away, a hotel like this cannot keep its 3 star rating.

Not a great deal , plenty of sachets of coffee in room , The receptionist on arrival couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge the I was stood at desk waiting to be greeted , a simple " I will be with you in a minute " would of been nice, instead we basically had the riot act read to use about the rules of the hotel, we won't be staying there again , drinks expensive , very poor low water pressure at shower ,

The staff was polite and efficient, the single room I occupied, though quite small, was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Moreover, the tea and coffee facilities was very good. I would definitely go back there.

Size of the room and cleanliness. We had the most uncomfortable mattress possible, every spring stabbed you in the back. I even tried sleeping on top of the duvet to soften it but was to cold. Tried to put towels over the worst of the springs. Complained to reception.
