Ideal family room, friendly staff, great breakfast, good location.
24 hour reception Clean room
The room that we were given was in a building out from the main hotel. The swipe card was not working to get into the building, so the door was wedged open on the evening and overnight. Anyone was free to enter the building. Housekeeper walked straight into the bedroom while we were in bed. Exposed wires on smoke detector.
wifi coverage rubbish,
Loved relaxing in the Jacuzzi bath with radio and the coloured lights.
The staff were very friendly and polite. Our room was value for money and clean. The restaurant food was excellent.
There was nothing we didn't like.
Helpful staff, very clean room and bedding, ditto bathroom. Location.
Building could do with outward decoration, it's a bit tired but the actual room was fine.
Great place to stay will stay again one day bed comfy breakfats good
There was a humming noise all the tine
Very friendly .brand new bathroom with option of bath or shower.bedding fresh clean .a nice bar with a reasonable menu.agood location and value for money.
Wi fi kept disappearing in some areas.
Location Car Park cleanliness modern style confortable room with right size
N/A, all simply spot on
Excellent value for what we required. Perfect service and very helpful. Breakfast was superb !
Absolutely nothing. Perfect for what we needed
Location and ease of getting around. Size of room.
At breakfast there was no coffee other than instant which means if I ever stayed at the hotel again I would never have breakfast I would go out to a place that serves decent coffee. To be told 'we've run out' isn't good enough. Surely a person could have popped to the shops to get some. How can a hotel run out of ground coffee? Why don't you have a coffe machine?
The hotel rooms and bathrooms were clean. There were a few places around you could eat.
Having to sign something agreeing not to drink alcohol in the room, not being able to eat hot food in the room and check out time is too early. I asked for a later time and it was declined. Felt like I was in prison.
Car access good, with parking at rear of hotel Bar and restaurant offer good value food and drink Bed was a decent size and very comfortable
Decor was a little tired Have to walk across an uncovered quad to access bedroom annex Slight concerns about security - outer door to bedroom annex propped open
The receptionist was very helpful.
No reading lamps in bed made reading impossible. Central heating was not working.
There was a 'surprise party' in the dining room and the noise was unbearable. Cancelled second night. Twin room was so small it would have been a good single.
Good parking Extremely clean Comfortable Great bed Efficient friendly staff Overall and excellent stay Good TV
Shower controls were a bit difficult to understand
Close to City Centre Very clean room
When arrived was told to read and sign something to confirm I wouldn't eat food or drink in bedroom and wasn't allowed any guests in room! Found this offensive. Cheapest nastiest toilet paper in the universe Hotel signage needs updating Very noisy people in central quad area at 1am not being challenged by staff
Close to broad street and good to share a big room with 4 beds for 4 friends on a girls night out .
The room was large, bed was comfortable, very clean, bath towels were soft, will definitely book again.
I didn't actually stay because my son ended up in hospital. Booking.com were happy to cancel free of charge, but the Edgfastob refused, told me 'it was not his problem' that my son was in hospital, shouted at me and refused to listen to the extenuating circumstances. Would stay away from this place, will be lodging a formal complaint.
BEWARE....these are cowboys masquerading as a hotel business. The receptionist is rude and petulant. The management is not accountable (try contacting him!) There is no complaint process. They took money out of my account after we had left. This was easily the worst hotel experience of my life, and they just don't care about bad customer service. We were shocked. Not worth the hassle of staying here. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Friendly staff, very good food, nice room
Arrived at 14:00 fancying a beer and bar didn't open until 17:00 :(
Location and very welcoming.
There was a strange smell in the room and i did experience noise in the early hours .
Reception staff were very pleasant - particularly the gentleman when I checked in - and helpful. The bed was comfortable.
Overlooking a courtyard where a Halloween party was on until late. People in neighbouring room then started talking/laughing at top of their voices at 0415 hrs - carried on until after 0500 hrs. Food in bar was inedible and wine was very poor too.
The room was clean and spacious. Location was great for the nia small taxi fare or 30 min walk.
The staff on arrival were rude and unhelpful. They didn't seem very welcoming and reluctant to take cash payments even though we stated on booking that we would be. They then wanted £100 deposit. It's a good thing I carried my card
