Very friendly. Great for walks on the hoe. Good breakfast
No dislikes, Very Nice. Limited parking behind B@B but £2 ticket can be purchased from Carla to park on street as council pay and display. Certainly not an issue for such a great location.
Shower only in room, not a drama
great staff and fabulous freshly cooked breakfast. TV and drinks all in the room. Comfy bed and all very clean and tidy. 2 Minute walk to the sea and a stroll to the main shopping centre. Parking available if you need it or you can buy parking permit for very reasonable price from the land lady.
nothing not to like really. I suppose you could say the electric pump for the toilet flush was a bit loud....if you wanted to be picky, but we didn't really mind it too much.
In a good location with easy access to all local attractions. Exceptional owner offering 1st class hospitality. Large clean rooms , very comfy bed and 1st class breakfasts, freshly prepared at a time to suit individual guests.
Not a dislike but a separate 'office style' chair would have been nice to work at the table - had to put a few cushions on to get the correct working height
We booked this B&B from Canada and when we arrived it exceeded our expectations. Beautiful decor, delicious beakfast, great tips for what to see and do, and LOCATION! Wow. Steps to the seafront, walking distance to the Hoe, the Barbican area. Would highly recommend!
Friendly and flexible staff Very nice spacious room Nice bathroom
Fabulous breakfast, good free wifi, near beachfront and pretty walk to Barbican and Hoe.
Location. Great host. Great breakfast. In walking distance of the Hoy and waterfront. Ample parking outside guest house. Clean room and beds firm.
Not having enough days to sightsee in Plymouth. Staying in room on ground floor and next to main door so could hear when people coming in and out. The bathroom is operated by a pump system so is noisey.
A great place to stay. Nothing can beat a hostess that makes you feel so welcomed and shares her local knowledge on the area. All travelers needs are more than meet here, thanks Carla.
Nice staff and wonderful breakfast, easy to find and a nice view to Smeaton's Tower from the bedroom
Parking is limited (3 spaces) however on road parking is available to buy from the B&B for £2 for the day
Location is great for getting anywhere in Plymouth. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly Strongly recommend.
WiFi a bit flaky but nothing major
Friendly staff and owner. Place was clean and tidy. Brilliant location.
Brilliant location, with a friendly welcome , a secure shed for our bikes, the guesthouse is located on a cycle route, and we were able to walk to the city centre
Room was large
We had trouble finding the location.
Good location, friendly, clean and tidy, great breakfast
Need to have bigger beds
Carla made us feel right at home. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Our room on the top floor was very comfortable and quiet. Great location walking distance to all attractions. Would highly recommend.
Everything, food, Decor, friendly atmosphere and in a convenient position.
Everything! Lovely, clean room. Comfy bed, large bathroom. Fabulous breakfast. The owner is extremely helpful. I was there for a friend's wedding and arrived late due to bad traffic. We kept in touch by text. I was helped with a parking permit which covered the area next to the Registry Office. No hesitation recommending to others.
Pleasant owner with a sense of humour and flexible regarding our early departure
Car Parkin facilities
There wasn't anything we didn't like, Carla and Marie were the perfect hosts, nothing was any bother. Lovely room, even although it was on a side road, the double glazing kept out any noise. We were recommended to go to the Tapas bar just across the road, it was great, lovely food. Also the location was really good, right on the Barbican and easy access into town. It was our first visit but certainly not our last.
The location but the picture in booking with the white building does not show house nor the view from the house.
The decoration of the room very basic and the bathroom : old shower, discoloration marks on the bathroom floor, very disapointed in view of the 8.8 grade
Dropping off son and Dtr in law for ferry. Ideal situation. walk to Hoe and harbor.
Loved the four poster bed and the view of Smeaton's Tower. The rooms were spacious and clean. The towels were soft and the bedding was crisp. It had more of a hotel feel than a guest house. Room service was a pleasant bonus and everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice and plenty to eat.
Twin room was noisy due to the plumbing.
OWNER WAS EXCELLENT AND BREAKFAST GREAT. ROOM SPOTLESS AND ALWAYS HAD CLEAN TOWELS .
FRONT ROOM HAD A BIT OF ROAD NOISE FROM TRAFFIC,BUT NOT BAD.
Family atmosphere and was able to book-in early by arrangement. Bottled water on arrival was welcomed. Lovely room with comfortable king size bed. The lamb Shank meal in the Navy Inn - Barbican, was excellent value and we were able to have it upstairs in the garden terrace - best value meal of the holiday.
