The Edgcumbe - Guest Accommodation  

The hotel is ran by a family who treat all their guests like family too. Nothing is too much trouble and they offer advice and recommendations on places to eat and visit. Lovely rooms with lovely views can't wait to go back.

The staff were friendly and helpful- nothing was too much trouble. It was like staying with a good friend.

There was nothing to dislike.

I can't say enough about The Edgcumbe! The location is unbelievably beautiful and perfect for hikers and beach enthusiasts. It is perfectly charming, and we fell in love with it from the minute we arrived! Emma, Becky and all of the family made you feel so welcome and comfortable from the moment you walked in. We arrived late on a wet and windy night and were greeted with a warm smile and a hot bowl of soup! The food was delicious and the inn is so pretty! It is like staying with the most wonderful old friends. You will fall in love with this family, place and all of Cornwall!

Nice young lady Jo very cheerful person and a young man called Lee. They give a very good welcome to everyone who stays there. The full breakfast was very nice The decoration was nice colours and modern.

We was very disapointed with not getting the room we had booked with Booking,com as it had been double booked..I Had wanted a nice luxury room for my husbands birthday treat. But the lady did phone and explain this to us. Before we went. The room we had we had to climb loads of stairs and wasnt as nice as the room we wanted, but had a lsquare window with a sea view.

I originally booked a room with a luxury bathroom,however whilst making the booking via the web, someone booked the room by phone.Shortly after submitting my booking I recieved a call from the Hotel explaining what had happened, all was not lost as they upgraded our room to a suite at the original booking price. We had a lovely stay and the breakfast was seriously good.

I thought that it was extraordinarily good value for money and will certainly stay again when my work takes me to the Bude region.

The hotel is well located very very clean,people are ver friendly top drawer would have no hesitation recommending this hotel, will stay again highly recommend.

The Edcumbe was very welcoming and friendly. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and the conservatory area/bar was very comfortable with a selection of books and games to play. It was in a very convenient part of Bude with easy access to shops, bars and beach. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice. We would definitely stay again if we were to go back to Budge.

There was nothing we could fault about the Hotel. It far exceeded our expectations.

The Edgcumbe has everything really great location friendly helpful staff brilliant en-suite bathroom comfortable lounge bar lovely breakfast room and an exellant breakfast great views from bedroom and lounge bar nothing to much trouble

There is such a beautiful view from the hotel. It is in a lovely little, practically unspoilt bay. Breakfast was varied and excellent. We got a parking space right outside the hotel. There is a very well made swimming pool in the rocks. There is a bistro by the hotel that overlooks the beach and surfing equipment can be hired from there. There is a tidal river and boats can be hired to go on the canal that is right there. We played tennis (still in the bay). It cost £7 per hour. There are other activities there. Nice places to eat but not cheap, except the fish and chips. There is a sainsburys behind the hotel.
