Soon we get there the first annoying fact was to pay more 3 pounds for the wifi . After enter our room we tried to connect the wifi and it didn't even appear because our room was too far from the modem . worse than that, we came back to the receptionist and he was really really rude and ironic saying that if I want to use the wifi so I should use it there on the hall . Summarizing , I paid 3pounds for nothing , I couldn't use net in my own room and still had to listen the unpolite receptionist saying that there was nothing he could do . And to finish he didnt even give my money back even I didn't use the net anytime. And the room was really cold
Free parking available on the street; friendliness and efficiency of the staff, size of the room, modern bathroom, comfort of the beds, reasonable room rate.
Lack of attention to detail such as: stained carpets, wear and tear in some furniture and curtains, empty plastic drinks bottle under the sink and lady shaver sitting on top of the shower head.
We requested a bright room and we got one under the roof with a roof window! Quiet, clean and comfy. Nice staff too.
Insufficient insulation, we could hear the neighbors cough all night...
Location was good - A 15 minute walk from the centre Plently free parking right outside the hotel
The shower was poor and the bed was poor however sufficient for one nights stay
the wifi is paid, which is not clear in hiring.
The only good thing was ur receptionist Preet i believe her name was. Very helpful and understanding.
Everthing from no elevator to the riff raff romanians in hallway. The arguing next door was too much esp at 1am we travelled all day for that? I could count the bedspring marks on my back in morn. NO wi fi unless down in lobby or across the street my wife felt unsafe an didnt want to leave rm with our belongings in it. A very unsavory place to only b reimburst £38 was a joke. A real dive
The bnb is only 15 minutes away walking to the city centre. You have plenty just on your doorstep. I especially liked the room I had during my stay, the bathroom was lovely. I stayed 3 nights and couldn't say anything bad about it, fair enough it's a 3 star which you can tell but it's worth the money!! Had a great time staying here and would go back.
Loud people which you can't help. For example people would come through the corridor laughing/shouting at night but that's not the staffs fault.
the location the staff the comfort
We thought that the room and facilities represented very good value for money. This was our second visit and we weren't disappointed. All in all, a peaceful and comfortable stay!
Nothing much really. We had a few problems with the TV when we inadvertently activated the built-in DVD player which kept making a whirring noise and couldn't be turned off, but this is a relatively minor point, as we could still watch the programmes with the volume turned up slightly louder without any problems.
Price, Location, Easy access to city centre, free parking.
I just want to get everyone's expectations clear before you book. This is a budget hotel, suited for travels, backpackers, students etc. Breakfast is not included and is over priced I would not suggest getting it. The walls are incredibly thin you can hear everything and you have no real privacy because of it. I stayed with my girlfriend and because we are laid back we found it okay for the price, however this feels like more of a hostel then a hotel. I hope this helps your decision.
Huge room with flat screen TV. Big bathroom which was very modern. Tea/coffee making facilities. Free on street parking.
Staff very uninterested. You had to pay 8 pounds for continental breakfast which we didn't bother with.
Only 10 min walk to city centre
Beds were uncomfy, paid a lot for what we got!
Room was spacious and heated well
Shower didn't work properly and plughole blocked basin tap leaked constantly wasn't enough tea coffee available and cups were miniature had to ask for receipt on paying wasnt offered one
The location was ok Easy to get to but the beds are really bad far too hard went with no aches but came back with a few
The beds also the lights were too dull
No bar for drinks Breakfast was poor
The broken window The noise My 72yr old relative having to climb 2 flights of super narrow stairs Taxi to the centre was far out The staff were rude dressed scruffy and totally unprofessional Staff left at night and door was left open for any to enter Did say goodbye when leaving Just leave your key and we didn't even make a complaint about the disgusting rooms
Staff Cleanness quiet area close to town
Cracking bed bad light in a room window which does not open
Easy to get settled in when checking in. Room fairly clean . Ideal location . Staff friendly . Wifi didn't work . But overall comfortable and would stay again
The price The location The privacy of my own room and bathroom (as opposed to a hostel) The TV in the room No charge for depositing suitcases in case you arrive earlier, as it was my case :)
The heating goes off at night, so when I woke up the room was freezing!! The room and bathroom felt clean, but I don't know how thoroughly, there was an empty bottle beneath the bed, and the kettle had a lot of dust gathered. I felt a little selfconscious.
The hotel was mostly pleasant, the room had a nice en suite bathroom but was let down by certain things. I'd consider staying there again if these things were sorted.
The room just wasn't very clean, there were noticeable stains on the bedsheets, the heating also didn't seem to work (it was freezing) despite asking at reception for it to be checked. We also paid for a late checkout which we didn't get.
Nice size single room with double bed and plenty towels provided and they also provided soap and shower gel Good powerful shower :-) About 15 walk to city centre although there is good bus service to city centre.
Poor Welcome for a start not told where your room is and i was having to ask what floor my room was, Plus not a say in I hope you enjoy your stay etc constant banging of main door which I was right above. On checking out at 10am Reception not open and i had to give to cleaning lady and i also made complaint.
It had everything needed for a quick night stay - bed, bathroom, wifi, etc. I'm not very demanding so it was OK for me.
The window when closed still let some wind inside the room, and breakfast was able only till 8:30 or something like that (I don't remember the exact time, but it was really early).
Close to family we were visiting good bus service
People banging doors and talking in middle of night
Nice staff cheap and cheerful hotel
The bed was confortable and the temperature in the room was fine. Tea and coffee in the room for free.
The room was so tiny we couldn't open the door fully. Full of dust in the floor. We were two people in the room and we could barely move. Way too expensive for the service they provide. Very noisy at night as it looks like a hostel. If i wanted an hostel i would have booked one cheaper and closer to the city center.
