It was only a 15 minute walk to the town centre, considering there were just 3 of us, the price for the room was really good and there was free parking Our room was freezing, even though the heating was on (it was warmer in the corridors). The shower was cold in the morning, although that was a one-off and we put that down to everyone using it as it was hot when I used it later on. Then the lock didn't work on our door so we spent the majority of the weekend not being able to lock the door securely. |

i found the staff very helpful, and the continental breakfast very good . i found that there was quiet a few groups of men/women staying there and was very noisy at the early hours of the morning after a night out in the town, |

The family room was incredibly spacious and the breakfast, considering it only stated a "continental" breakfast was superb with lots of choice. The bedroom carpet had stains on it and there was no "Hot Chocolate" sachets in the room or in reception. |

Family room was spacious and airy, staff were helpful when asked for sheets and an extra pillow. Bathrooms were clean and bright. Dining room was in the basement, it was not attractive, but was dreary and drab. A hot breakfast would be welcome, the quality of breakfast available was poor. Double room was very crampted and not adjacent to family room with the children. Decor was shabby, room doors were damaged and flimsy and need replacing. |

The Staff were very friendly, and went out of their way to help us. The Room we stay in had a TV with aeriel cable, picture was awful, and TV not tuned in. Bathroom light bulb flashed on and off. Shower foot part filled up during showering. Window would not shut, so we had to use other means to make it closed. Door was not very safe, and could easy be kicked in. |

excellent value for money. Easy parking (free) on the street outside. Half hour walk to Princes Street. About 50 steps to climb to the room; difficult with heavy baggage |

The booking had been incorrectly recorded as a single room when it was in fact for a twin. The Receptionist immediately gave us two singles for the price of a twin which was greatly appreciated. |

We liked the location. Lots of local facilities in Leith and we weren't too far from City Centre. The buses were regular. A small park just across the road was handy. Our room was large and clean with TV and kettle for tea and coffee. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. The shower room was not laid out very well. The lock seemed as if it was going to break. |

Walking distance to the centre Room way too small. Windows had just been painted therefore strong smell of paint in the room. Manhole opposite hotel was 'loose' therefore every car that went over it made a noise. |

The staff were always friendly and they accomodated us when we wanted earlier breakfast and heat up food late at night. The bathroom was not cleaned and the carpets were not vacuumed while we stayed there for 7 days. |
