location, fabulous double bed and spa
Love the pool area
Had the most amazing time! Very large room with very comfortable bed. Everything I could ask for. Breakfast was excellent, could not fault anything about this hotel. Will definitely stay again.
breakfast was extremely poor standard eggs undercooked sausages overcooked ; has browns dripping with grease ; I would not expect to have to pay for this
Everything was perfect executive lounge premium well worth it for our family breakfasts were amazing
proximity to public transport
a bit far from city center
We arrived with two small children after a very long trip and the staff were so kind and hospitable. They went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible. The food in the bar was great - as was the service.
cant think of anything really (though it would be nice to have free wifi in the rooms)
Friendly staff, easy to deal with, genuine and quick to help.
-that free wifi was only available in the public areas -having to book the breakfast the day before to receive a discount
Christoffer on reception being exceptionally helpful - we had a fabulous New Year's Eve thanks to his helpful advice. The quiet room & comfortable bed. The lovely warm swimming pool & spa. Easy access to the airport.
Having to ask for more tea bags ( only a few in the room each day).someone leaving our window open & the air con on cold while we were out (& it was a freezing cold day). The limited menu in the restsurant & being given what was clearly a salmon fillet when we ordered trout (& the waiter insisting it was trout when it really wasn't!). Having to travel 30 mins by bus into town.
Brilliant Staff, Very close to transport links into the city. Food was very good. Spa and swimming pool as expected and advertised.
Sound of traffic sometimes intruded.
Big beds in twin room. Friendly happy staff
Bed was very comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good. Bathroom was also very good. Transport was easy as the bus stop is right outside the hotel.
The location is not in the city centre, so does feel a bit on the outskirts. Next time I am in Edinburgh, I will probably stay at a central hotel.
The room was large with a fantastic shower
The room was extremely hot. We had the window open, radiator off yet it was still in it's high 20's. We are unsure if room 220 was near heating pipes but we shall ask for a different room next time. I am unsure how anybody could cope with it in the summer.
Staff were brillant? Nice quite room
No free Wifi
Bed was just two singled pushed together. Really uncomfortable
Location. Good bus links into city centre. Plenty restaurants nearby. Gyle shopping centre 5min walk away.
Stevenson at concierge is an excellent guide. Answers all the queries with patience. A great help indeed.
Wifi should be free
Everything! The staff are always polite and cheerful! The location is great . leisure facilities are great. Restaurant is lovely.
Our first visit so far out of town but Staff very friendly, very welcoming, Easy to get to, nice big free car park, good bus service into town
Only problem we had was that the service in the bar on the Sunday night was terrible, over an hour to be served a burger and fish & chips, the waiting staff knew there was obviously a problem in the kitchen but coped well
Hotel is very well situated to bus into the centre of Edinburgh. Very comfortable Hotel and plenty of secure parking. Food is excellent even in bar area, and staff attentive and efficient. Thank you. We have stayed before and will stay again.
Pillows not as good as Premier Inn. I was disappointed that wifi was so expensive for the two nights we stayed. The rate for the whole week was silly for reduced stay, but it would not put me off staying at this hotel again.
Very nice staff
