It was a decent room and beautiful lobby and the staff was wonderful. The prices are outrageous and the food was less than impressive. We will book elsewhere in the future. Where they value our service.

Location and free parking I'm handicapped, but still walk. My room (35) was too far from the lobby. We had to pay for wifi. Had to pay for breakfast, when we thought we were paying for it with the cost of the room.

The hotel makes an extra effort with children and makes them feel extremely welcome A wee wait at reception as the room booked didn't have the child bed nor the travel cot ready. I was informed it was a bank holiday weekend and hotel was extremely busy however I shouldn't of been able to book for 1 child and an infant in my room if beds were at a shortage. staff were friendly though.

Great staff, even with an 11.30pm check in. Well placed for the airport, west city and central Scotland. Corridor carpets and decor look a little tired.

Large car park and the fact that the bus stop is directly across the road. The buses run around every 10 minutes or so into the city centre. The restaurant is well laid out with plenty of room between tables. Be careful at the breakfast buffet. The first morning I had sausages and bacon that were almost cold. The following morning the sausages and bacon were in their trays one layer of food on top of the other. If you choose your food from the bottom it is much hotter!

Very easy to get to and from motorway. Also liked the fact there was a regular '100' bus link servivce. Pool facilities good. I felt the food was overpriced for value. The particular member of staff that served us was very pleasant and helpful but did not write down our food order and as a result one wrong main course was given at the table. My childs starter and main course came at the same time! The correct main course was served up some 15/20 minutes later when my children were finished. I think it would be appropriate for the Marriot chain to review their 'changing' facilities in the pool area. I was told if my son had been 8 years old he would have been unable to go into the female changing area with me - given it was just myself, daughter and son that were staying at the hotel the girl had said that a female member of staff would see he would be ok in the 'male' changing area - I dont think so! not in the age we live in today. I suggested that there must be a family changing area to which I was told this would only be able to be used if no disabled guests were in need of it. I do appreciate the reason for this is to respect other guests who may be in the female chaning area but I think the age of 8 years is far too young to be in a totally different area from their parent to get showered and changed for swimming. This decision will certainly have an impact in me staying again after September as my son will then be 8 and his father is not always with us on trips.

The staff at the Marriott Hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. We booked in the restaurant on our first night and we were disappointed with our meal. My husbands main course was luke warm and the desserts weren't of a very high standard. We wished we had eaten out.
