Marriott Hotel Edinburgh

Väldigt bra bemötande av all personal. Fräscht hotell! Bra läge nära flygplats och nära själva Edinburgh. God frukost. Bra bussförbindelser utanför hotellet både till flyget och in till stan. Trevligt med spa-avdelningen också. Rekommenderar detta hotell.

Fanns inget som jag/vi tyckte illa om på hotellet. Men tyvärr fungerade inte bokningen som den skulle. Hotellet hade inte fått uppgifter från booking.com ang vår bokning och något rum fanns inte reserverat. Detta löstes dock på bästa sätt av personalen och vi fick ett väldigt fint och fräscht rum.

Plenty of car parking. Very quiet reception area.

Ugly thick sliced bread used on a club sandwich with no crusts removed. Breakfast layout in my opinion not good compared with foreign hotels and the food on the 'hot cooked bar' was in fact rather cold.

Very friendly and helpful staff - without exception.

The room was airless, the bed uncomfortable. The promised internet connection did not work.

This is a traditional style, dark-wood and warm-colours kind of hotel, and everything about it says "welcoming and comfortable!" In capital letters! The beds are heavenly. Moreover, this is the first hotel I've stayed at in Edinburgh recently (4 one-night stays in 6 weeks) where the staff were exceptionally good. In fact they were absolutely fantastic, all evidently handpicked to suit the hospitality industry. They were young, smart, polite and professional. It was apparent that this hotel attracted a great deal of international guests, and I was relieved, as a Scottish person, that they could only be highly impressed by these ambassadors for the Scottish tourist industry.

I would certainly choose to stay at this hotel again, even if it meant having to shower in the slightly old fashioned bathroom with the bath/shower curtain combination. I know it has been recently refurbished, but next time around perhaps they should go for the more modern and hygienic shower partition panel.

easy acess to edinburgh city centre.bus stops just outside and staff very helpfull with information about this.

on our second night we were woken at 4am by water dripping from the room above through the cieling. not worth moving room as going home next day. check out staff didnt mention this untill i did , then offered a bottle of wine.spoilt weekend a little as very tired for drive home.water due to occupant upstairs leaving bath taps running then falling asleep.

Modern comfortable room convenient to the airport.

the staff were friendly and the room was very clean. the health suite was clean and you didnt have to book into the health suite

when we got back to the hotel we went for a drink and the amount was put onto a bill sent to the room the next morning, we would have prefered to pay cash then and there.

The proximity to the road network

Despite a recent upgrade, the television reception was as poor as it was 3 years ago.

The breakfast buffett was very nice and was included in the room. Nice to have a true "Scottish breakfast" for our first day in Scotland.

very nice hotel, staff very helpful, I booked the 3 nights for the price 2 was charged the full rate, my confirmation was in my briefcase left at the show ground there as no quibble and I was given the rate I booked

The staff were very friendly, the room was very comfortable and clean. the hotel was near to public trasport

the convenient location - close to shopping and city as well as attractions of edinburgh.
