Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel was super clean and brilliant value. Couldn't believe it. Indoor gym/pool was brill. Will be going back very very very soon
I haven't got anything bad to day about the hotel or area, no faults at all. Exceeded expectations.
I was flying out the next day. The desk staff were so friendly and helpful in assisting us in how to take buses back to the hotel after turning in our rental car and helping us with difficulty getting onto the WiFi as well as arranging a taxi very early in the morning. The bar staff were equally as friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable too!
The WiFi did not work from my room so I had to sit out in the hallway by the elevator to make a connection to the network. Not a horrible issue, but a little inconvenient.
The room was very spacious and comfortable; staff were helpful. Parking was easy
The elevator broke down during the night and had to carry large bags downstairs. Wifi had very poor reception in our hotel room; I had to go into the lobby to get decent reception
liked the pool and sauna, room was adequate.Food was quite good.overall a nice hotel
Dining room was cold and did not sleep well due to noise in bedroom above us.our carpet was grubby.
Well appointed spacious room. Proper child bed. Excellent customer service from staff.
Staff friendly and good bus service.
Evening meals need a re vamp
Enjoyed the whole experience
Great location. Staff very friendly and polite. Excellent leisure facilities.
Decor in room very tired and in need of repainting. Skirting boards dirty and carpet, sofa and cushions all had stains on them. Table very badly chipped and damaged.
The price was good swimming pool kept my son occupied room cleaned every day
The buses were diverted because of road works so it was easy to catch the bus into the centre but coming back again the bus stopped and we had to get onto another bus but it still did not come up past the hotel but that was not the hotels fault we could not fault the hotel in anyway it was just the roadworks but work has to be done on the road too
We stayed at the hotel the night before our flight on holiday & it was a lovely relaxed way to break up the travelling. We had a nice sleep & a swim in the morning followed by a leisurely breakfast.
Our room key didn't work & we had to return to the reception to get them to re _ set it.
Hotel was very clean, located at the top of a hill, away from main roads, so a quiet location, breakfast was first class, could not make fault with anything,
Our only problem was when we arrived, we were asked if we required breakfast in the morning, if so that would be extra, I said that the room had been booked with breakfast included, and gave them the booking form I had printed off from booking.com, the girl on the desk said that the booking had been down as room only, and made a copy of my form for the information, if I did not have that form with me I would have been charged £25, for the breakfast, would not have been a happy camper, if I had been charged, so who was at fault,?????
Quick check in Great staff
Offer on breakfast, not a better offer then normal price. Pool out if order Sunday
It is a very good hotel for people who are happy to be a little out of the city. The bus journey is easy and takes about 45 minutes.Very well priced. Comfortable rooms and attentive staff and a fitness suite with a good pool add to its attraction. We have used it before and shall use it again.
For the cost of the rooms and the restaurant, you could not expect better.
Quietness of room and comfort of bed
Air conditioning would have been nice.
Clean comfortable good value food and drink staff in restaurant very pleasant and helpful
Needed a lot of maintenance large crack in sink in room, handle of toilet on last legs ,carpets bit shabby ,broken light and no air con made room dingy and stuffy ,pool out of action for two days . Sullen receptionist shame cos her colleagues including trainee were very helpful and pleasant but one bad apple brings the rest down she needs some customer service training pronto.
good not to have to watch television or listen to radio/loud music comfortable and welcoming
nice location outside edinburgh.transport good and cheap in to town.
Nice friendly staff
Pool out of order
The view from my window was unbelievable. The restaraunt was extremely nice and I enjoyed my meal I had there. The bar and restaraunt had very friendly staff.
I didn't like the fact I paid 90£ for one night in a hotel which advertised to have a pool yet when I got there the pool was shut. The "double bed" is just too single beds stuck together and the duvet is the same with a zip down the middle, not the comfiest of things. The rooms aren't that nice to be paying 90£ a night. Money wasted in my opinion.
The use of the gym and swimming areas.
Breakfast not included for already quite a high price, plus room carpet was marked and sticky around the bed.
Location is good for the west of Edinburgh.
Poor experience at check-in from a receptionist who had a very high opinion of herself. Poor soundproofing in the room and no air-conditioning on 2 very hot nights.
Hotel had no air conditioning or windows that could open to left some air in. Had a terrible night sleep!
Noisy hallway door outside 180 could do with slow closer on it.
Very handy to the airport. We flew to Canada overnight and then had a brutal layover in London before arriving in Edinburgh totally exhausted. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Bed was comfy. Room was quiet.
My sister in laws room was over the conference rooms which were playing music for a function until the wee hours which kept her up and grouchy!
Fantastic swimming pool
Breakfast could have been better
