I thought the staff were welcoming and friendly. The lounge and bar facilities were good. The room was basic. My bed was so lumpy I didn't sleep at all. Lack of tea and coffee. Holes in bed sheets. |

The staff at the Hotel were lovely, very very friendly, we were able to leave our luggage early on the day of check in and have breakfast. The room was very comfortable, and the dinner in the evening in the restaurant was excellent. Its a bit far from the city which we didn't realise, but once we found the number 26 bus which almost stop outside the door that was fine. |

Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying in Edinburgh. The Staff and Hotel facilties were superb! And with hotel parking also it was perfect! The only slight complaint i would have was, the website stated the hotel was close to Murrayfield stadium and its definately not as close as it states. |

It was clean and the staff were friendly. We were staying for 1 night only. However the room was extremely warm and we both couldn't sleep. The walls were thin and we could hear everything that was going on around us which kept us awake all morning. To be honest although the room was clean and the staff were friendly it was the most uncomfortable night sleep I have had in a while. |

Breakfast was well prepared, selection was well varied, the maitre d' (Mike) was appropriately attentive. It was good that a major bus stop was close to this hotel as it is located fair far from the city center. The access method to our room, an elevator to the 2nd floor and then a walk up a flight of stairs - with baggage - to the 3rd floor, was inconvenient. There was only one adapter - for a razor in the bath - for non-British electrical outlets. Fortunately, I carr\y a bulky USA to British adapter. |

The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They were interested in us and took the time to listen and recommend places to visit. |

Great pool & gym facilities, dinner menu pleasing with great service. Room and bed very comfortable I was not impressed with breakfast quality or choice. For £11 i would expect more variety- especially in cold selection. I think the loaves came from aldi. |

As mentioned above - I felt the information on the hotel was wrong as it was much more than 3 miles from the airport. |

Good rooms - large comfortable bed - good bathroom - friendly helpful staff Poor breakfast - had worst porridge of my life - coffee was from a machine not good for £11.50 per head! |

Gym and spa were great. Pool was a decent size for a hotel. Rooms were a good size. It was a very very very hot weekend so only thing missing was air conditioning in the room - it became very stuffy. |

Whenever we had an issue or query it was answered and put right immediately. All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We all loved the gym and pool facilities, a great way to unwind after a long day in the city Fortunately we had a hire car, but without this getting into Edinburgh would be inconvenient as we were with a young child and (much!) older mother |

Meals were good and the hotel laid on a marathon breakfast which was excellent. All staff were helpful and friendly. Nice spacious bedroom. Yes!!!! The wedding receptions downstairs on both nights where the music didn't finish until past midnight. The only way to drown out the thump thump was to have the tv up loud. Inconsiderate particularly for peole running the matathon the next day. We only got a few hours sleep each night. |

The only positive aspect of the stay was a lovely member of staff in the restaurant. The rooms we stayed in were on a low floor. The floorboards above and on our floor were in need of repair or replacement. The noise was unbelievable and sleep just did not happen. Not enough towels with the bath towel being too small and scratchy. A lot of money for a sleepless night. The food was also poor in the restaurant and again expensive. |

Within easy reach of the airport. Very quite both from road traffic and aircraft noise. Spacious bedroom which was very comfortable. Room service was also excellent as I arrived too late to get to get into the restaurant. |

The moment you walk into the hotel you are made feel very welcome. The staff from reception, to bar/restaurant and cleaning are all friendly and professional. The room is comfortable and clean and the bathroom was also clean and well stocked with soaps and towels etc. The temperature in the restaurant was too cold (may have been a fault in the airco). |
