It was extremely hot even with heater turned off. We were placed in a room below ground floor where no lift goes, so we had to take our luggage via stairs which was quite tiresome!

Sarah behind reception was extremely helpful.

How quick room service was. Good location for what we required.

The food was very average, we were handed the bill before even getting a chance to order a desert. We were never asked once how our food was, or if we required any accoutrements to go with it. We were told we would have to wait up to an hour for a table when there was only 8 - 10 people eating at that time. The furnishings in our room look very worn and scabby. Somebody else's hairs in the shower / bath.

Great that there was a little swimmingpool and sauna. Rooms were clean and nice. Only 10 min to airport, perfect if you are flying early in the morning. Nice reception

Pool closed at 8.30 pm, didn't know that so we showed up a bit late unfortunately.

Poor signage for the gym. Confusing hallway numbering system. Having to order lunch menu at the bar.

Good location, has parking, and a bus stop around the corner (bus 26 to get to city and bus 1 to get home, only costs 1.50) King size bed, fast wifi, clean, comfortable.

Thin walls/floors. Got over hearing the person above us 'stomp' about at 6am, and people in the hallway could be heard easily, at some points drifting off to sleep I thought the person next door was walking into our room!

Breakfast. Had to wait 15 minutes for hot food to be replenished and what was already out was congealed and luke warm.

Rooms where good pool, sauna and steamroom where good Bar was good staff where good

Breakfast on both days was not hot enough and all items where not stocked up quick enough

The restaurant food

The room was not as expected, the first hotel I've ever stayed in that did not provide toiletries and the walls were so thin we could hear every word spoken by the people next door/in the hallway.

They do not have an elevator to the top floor and we had to climb stairs with much luggage.

we were two, but there was only one towel The bar service was very long, there was 8 of us and we wanted 4 irish coffee and other drink, a very long wait. (No serious problems !)

Reception staff were great, very helpful and informative. Overall a very good venue

The food lets the hotel down. We understand their was a wedding on however our money is as important as there's?

The room was too hot, turned down heating and opened window but unfortunately was unable to sleep due to the heat. I would like to stay here again but wonder if there is anyway the heating could be switched off not turned down?

Overall, the hotel is what you would expect for a three-star quality hotel. Location was convenient to the bus line that takes you into Edinburgh (about 30 minutes & 1 pound 50 each way). Cost was reasonable and breakfast was outstanding (not included in our rate). Fitness center and pool were good additions. Free Wi-Fi and nice bar/dining area.

Was not at all pleased with the mattress in our room. It was very soft and provided little support. Otherwise, nothing negative to report.

Extremely clean, very nice facilities, with updated amenities. Proximity to airport fit my needs. Would have liked to have stayed a couple of extra nights, but it served its purpose.

Restaurant staff wasn't the most attentive, at least not my particular waitress. Others pitched in where she fell short.

Covenient for airport and city centre. Good facilities and pleasant view.

Beware the hotel's admitted policy of double booking. Half our party were bumped to another hotel 10 minutes away with minimal notice.

Hotel seemed nice as we had a good meal there

We were called at 4pm on the day of our booking to say our group had been moved to another hotel due to overbooking. We had been booked in for several weeks and to wait until the day to unceremoniously dump us somewhere else is the worst customer suervice I have ever had at a hotel!

Nice comfy sofas in the lounge bar. Lovely prawn sandwich. Very comfy bed and spacious room.

There was a wedding on and sometimes had to wait at bar for service. Not enough staff to manage both and we suffered. Couldn't pay cash at residents bar. Disappointing when looking forward to a nightcap and don't own a credit card.

Firstly when we arrived they had no room for us! Then when we finally got a room we had twin beds not a double! Then when we finally got a double room it was below the function room which was extremely loud until 1am. And to top it off on our second night we were locked out of room as the room we had was supposed to be a temporary room for first night! Terrible experience never to be visited again

Large comfortable bed. Spa facilities. Affordable. Clean.

20-25 taxi ride away from city. Dirty coffee cups on arrival. Very noisy on a morning.
