the food was lovely and the facilities good too. i did ot like the fact that are room was placed next to the doorway as this was extremely noisy and that the room had an adjoining door which was tried throught the night. Also it was very far from the town centre. |

Came for a break away overnight. Enjoyed relaxing in the Leisure facilities and had an excellent meal. Good relaxed room to be based in. The shower wasn't hot enough on thesaturday evening and I had to resort to a bath instead |

The room was spacious and very good with views across the fields. To be highly recommend for longer stays as well. The room service was very quick and good as well. The bar staff needs a bit more training. It is very poor that they did have no blended Whisky (e. g. Grouse) offering a single malt (e. g. Talisker) as being the same. That should not happen in Edinburgh of all places. |

The hotel was comfortable and staff friendly, nice bar and restaurant and an unrushed atmosphere. The hotel was about five miles from the city centre although taxi's were reasonable about ten pounds each way |

I chose this hotel for its locality to the zoo (wife wanted to see the Koalas) unfortunately it was closed due to high winds!! Also that it is charged by room not PPPN Only that the bed was a tad hard |

complimentary use of gym and swimming pool! Excellent. the individual price of breakfast was a bit steep (£11+ each) when all we had was coffe and cereal. perhaps provide options for breakfast, eg contintental for £6/7 and full english for the £11. (or whatever prices make sense). |

Friendliness of staff Hotel information pack states Leisure Centre opened at 6.00am when in actual fact it was 6.30am & the attendant failed to show which meant people were waiting to get in. Had to opened by Night Porter. Not happy. |

The relaxed atmosphere and lovely food. Our room wasn't that clean, dust everywhere and hairs in the bath from previous occupants appart from that everything else was good. |

The rooms were very comfortable and a good size. The hotel was on a bus route so saved the necessity of using the car. The domestic staff were quiet in their work ie not using hoovers early in the morning. The receptionist politely took note of problems I reported in the bathroom. I think it would be beneficial to have a therapy department as part of the leisure complex ie beauty and massage. |
