Excellent situation on bus route on Corstorphine Hill. The staff were
exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient

Our room was well presented and appeared to have recently been decorated. There was a good fitness club and the restaurant had a reasonable selection of menus for all tastes.

On the Saturday night of our stay there was a wedding reception. Even though we stayed on the third floor the noise was enough to ensure we did not get any sleep. This was not helped by the hotel staff rearranging the furniture in the reception room at 4 o'clock am which again helped to ensure a sleep free night!
The road noise from the main road past the front of the hotel was also very annoying

quietness & breakfast was excellent

squeaky floorboards- when you renovated did you consider how bad it is to have lovely rooms and squeaky floorboards - seems cheap?? also when you come out of the lift on the first floor there is no sign to show you to the rooms down the stairs and along our corridor - we had to go back down the elevator with our bags to ask again - unnecessary with proper signage. cheers

family room needed updating very old and bathroom was very poor and had a funny smell would have preferred one of the modern updated rooms

beds nt too comfy but likely down to own personal preference
