WiFi connection (name) conflicted in something in my PC system, but this can happen to others too as I do not have anything special installed. |

good location away from the general hubbub of central Edinburgh, yet a short walk to the action, best of both worlds |

The location Yes, the hotel was stiflingly hot with no air conditioning and the windows only opened a crack so no air could get in the room. The road outside was incredibly noisy throughout the night and the windows did not keep any of the noise out. Also we were in edinburgh to run a marathon on the sunday which started at 9am, however breakfast was not served until 8am which was way too late. |

Friendly helpful staff. Clean comfortable room and a good location. Could do with a few more leisure facilities in the hotel. |

Reception was quick and efficient, room clean and tidy, breakfast was good and we had no bother checking out. All in all a decent service for a reasonable price. To be recommended. No, i think everything met my expectations. |

The location was good as was the size of the rooms, the furnishings and decor. Breakfast and dinner was adequate. Customer service was very poor. The hotel had problems with power cuts on the 1st night and no heating on the second night which may have been outwith the hotel's control but no effort was made to ensure customers had a reasonable level of service. |

The hotel staff were very helpfull with regards to tourist information. The noise level out on the street was terrible. The hotel needs to put in double glazing windows in rooms that are facing the main street. |

convenient location, helpful staff, spacious comfortable room 'Continental' breakfast was a disappointment in terms of quality - the reality did not match the description. Cooked breakfast was good although only a modest plateful rather than a buffet! |
