The welcome was friendly and the information given, by the owner/manager, about the town was excellent as we would have missed some of Gloucester's gems without his knowledge of the town. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was tasty. Good parking. Excellent value for money

Hotel staff were very lovely, as I was travelling on my own because of work purposes, I was made to feel very welcome! Room was spotlessly clean and couldn't complain about anything at this hotel! Breakfast was included within the price and was served very quickly. Pleasent stay overall! Would deffintly recommend.

Was extremely pleased with our booking, closeness to the City. Excellent Hotel would recommend to anyone. The bed was enormous and I had to send the wife a goodnight text. Would use this Hotel again.

Friendly family run hotel with free parking and easy access to Gloucester city centre. A good English breakfast. Quirlky different and charming compared to the standard chain type. Could do with a bit of an update - but that would probably add to the price , so go for it as a nice unpretentious traditional hotel NOT run by mega corp hotel chain.

From the moment my son and I arrived we were made very welcome . The Hotel is charming and our bedroom was very nice with comfortable beds . We had an excellent breakfast . It also has a very good siiting area with a bar in which to meet up with family and friends . Altogether an extremely pleasant experience . Thank for your hospitality and we would certianly stay again .

clean comfortable the woman who greeted my wife was a little bit abrupt when we arrived.when my wife knocked on the door the women said `yes what do you want?not very welcoming.+the room was not ready even though it was advertised access after 1.oopm not a big problem but not very professional.

It was fantastic value for money with 4 adults easily accomodated in a family downstairs chalet style room, with 4 seperate beds. Extremely clean. Very central. Friendly staff. Comfortable breakfast times. Free parking only a few yards from room. Food was very good. Would strongly recommend to others.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Range of choices for breakfast was outstanding. Liked the room. Wifi access was very helpful. Only one comment. I went out on the Sunday and put the "do not disurb" sign on my door. This was as I had spread out a lot of papers and did not want them moved. When I returned I found that my room had been cleaned and the papers moved to make the bed............ I was not happy about that.
