Very near to the centre. Free car parking and plenty of spaces. Desk staff very helpful. Thought £69 was quite expensive as I booked only 2 days before-hand and this price was also quoted for this date weeks ago.

We were very impressed by the staff. They could not have been more helpful. We came down just as breakfast was being cleared away but the staff made sure that drinks, toast, croissants and pastries were available for us. They also helped me to access the pay-as-you-go internet surfing.

Very basic accommodation. Double bed small, sheets even smaller - not long enough to tuck in top and bottom. Room heater didnt work. Breakfast - even had to collect own cutlery and table was dirty. Food not up to much. Very noisy guests between 1pm and 3pm

We found the location easy to find as we travelled by car and was in easy walking distance to the city. The room was good value and breakfast good for the money we paid. We would recommend this as a place to stay in chester to friends and family. We booked for a double room so when the confimation came through it said twin beds. I emailed straight away to ask if we could have a double bed in the room, however our request obviously wasnt looked at as we had a twin room
