No bath, only shower
Close to centre. Gluten free toast an bacon ( instead of sausage) provided for coeliac.
Don't like the cattle market feeling at breakfast.
Light and airy. Parking is paramount with no extra cost.
Bed was too soft phone reception wasn't good , so couldn't use internet i
Clean, tidy , staff helpful and location good
Road noise very bad
We had to move rooms after the first night due to noise. We had no particular problem after that, but the hotel was very full of quite noisy groups.
The weekend Duty Manager was extremely good and redeemed a difficult situation
Breakfast! Sausage egg and beans doesn't make a full English!
The room was excellent. Excellent price, don't expect it is this cheap on a race day though. All staff were very friendly and it didn't seem fake like some hotels.
Very noisy road Hot no air conditioning. Can't open window.too noisy. No storage for clothes No bath. Tiny room Too small dining area Very limited breakfast range.
The view from our window was what looked like a dumping area either for the hotel, the race course or maybe both. In addition to the railway line Very disappointing.
The noise from other rooms. Also we've stayed before and didn't enjoy the breakfast so on this stay we didn't bother!
The location, price and parking.
Breakfast is of limited variaties
Location and facilities is very good
Not enough choice for hot breakfast. Only sausage or scrambled egg.
Good location, nice atmosphere ,
Connecting bedrooms and poor insulation led to a disturbed night.
Great location, good value for a leisure break.
Very close to town Relaxed atmosphere, liked the fact you could order food in at night from take aways WiFi access good Bed very comfortable
Bed, pillows not very comfortable.
Room a bit dated but the hotel is undergoing refurbishment so this will be resolved soon. For me the bed was to firm but not a deal breaker. And at £50 a night I would certainly use again :)
Free parking and literally few minutes walk from Chester centre.
Outside our room (room 124) there was a private staff room & they felt the need to sit there chatting with the door open each morning from 6.30am. It was like having your own personal alarm clock whether you wanted to be woke up or not! I had to have a word on the second morning & they seemed shocked that I actually asked them to keep the noise down and the door shut to allow customers the chance to sleep.
Perfect location in Chester and exactly what was needed for a few nights stay.
We arrived slightly early. Emma on reception was very very helpful and booked us into our room 303 (which has a fab view of the racecourse) as it was ready for us. Customer service was excellent. We had some banter with the cleaning staff and in particular Sheila as we were going to watch a football match on 28th March, Chester v Woking. Woking won (sorry Chester). You should be very proud of your staff and their customer service skills
Room was lovely as had recently been refurbished. Location very good close to bars, shops and restaurants. Staff friendly and helpful.
No bacon for brakfast???? Unheard of in a British hotel and certainly always on offer at a Premier Inn.
Very friendly counter staff on check-in. Amazingly efficient breakfast crew - as soon as a food item ran out it was topped up again. Location brilliant for city centre.
The only two things we weren't keen on was breakfast, same thing every day . !! and the Hairdryer [ had to hold the button in all the time and blew cold ] We would stay again but maybe try somewhere else for breakfast and take my own hairdryer]. All in all it was basic, clean and good value for money.
The staff were so friendly and all so helpful Nothing was too much trouble, from the people on the gate, to the staff indoors.
Location adjoining the racecourse is good with easy walking access to the city walls and city centre. Good choices for breakfast
Terrible throbbing sound (like a loud combi boiler) kept us awake all night - complained to staff the following morning. There was little they could do but this does need to be investigated and resolved. It's the only time I have ever complained about a hotel!
Modern, bright, good quality
Room renovations going on .
Very good location to explore city with free parking all in all great value for money.
Shower curtain and the very soft bed the yoghurts at breakfast were terrible
The staff very helpful and polite
