Great location to walk into old Chester to tour sites "inside the walls". Plenty of good parking. Good breakfast buffet.

Nice hotel, just a little worn. Road noise if on side facing the main road.

Room was clean and comfy

Didn't like the breakfast long queues, quite cold when we finally found a clean table

We stayed for two nights and found the whole experience excellent and will be back.

There was nothing to dislike.

Room too hot, toilet roll holder broken, sink(below plug) in bathroom smelt. Unable to obtain snack in the evening.

That it was close to town, the date we went was cheap, very clean and we would come again in the future.

The breakfast was dissapointing, not much variety of hot food and the food food was fairly burnt.

Location was good, staff helped us find a laundromat quickly, supplied us with a wine glass & bottle opener, supplied us with maps, they couldn't do enough for us.

The take away menu was not so good.

Other than breakfast, no restaurant on site. There were some within walking distance, but some stopped selling food by 7 pm or were very expensive.

Excellent customer service, receptionist and manager were so helpful. Great position on racecourse and only 5 mins from town.

Although Room relatively modest it was extremely well planned and made best use of space but still contained everything and all at an extremely good rate - would definitely stay there again if I were to visit Chester.

staff were excellent,room was bright and very clean, the best hotel we have ever stayed in,had a ice making machine in the foyer and free coffee all day for guests

Great location with free parking. Comfortable room and a lovely surprise of bottle of wine in our room.

The hotel is in a great location, only 5min walk from city centre so great for a shopping trip and lots of great bars and restaurant.

Make sure you don't get a room at the end of the corridor as its next to the train line.

Bed was springy & lumpy made worse by very poor bed making. Mattress cover not fitted correctly and sheet not straightened when bed made. Breakfast was very basic (no bacon,eggs,tomatoes or mushrooms).

Location was the best for us, staff were very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast, the staff making sure there was enough for all!!

Our room was in close proximity to the air conditioning machine so next time we stay will make sure we get a room that is not close to it. The staff did offer to change our room but that would have been traffic noise so we stayed where we were.

everyone was up for breakfast at the same time on Sunday so a bit chaotic and busy but no real problems - just hectic
