Mary was very welcoming, offering a cuppa as soon as we arrived. Gave us advice on where to go for a meal that night which was right on the money for great food at a good price. She was also most helpful when it came to tours and things to do in and around Derry. On top of all this, our room was great and the private bathroom spotless.

    Friendliness of staff

noise from outside the room; bed comfort; distance from town. B&Bs should be on 2 levels, with guests upstairs. This felt like living in someone's house, with an industrial business adjoining the property.

A lovely bed and breakfast just outside of the wall city of Derry. Mary was a welcoming host. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet and a good hearty Irish breakfast was served the next morning. A wee bit off the ring road but good access to the city or the roads to Donegal or the north east.

Situated just outside of Derry, this pristine Bed and Breakfast had such a lovely view of the countryside and the Elagh (old ruins). The beds were very comfortable, clean, and the food fantastic. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. This was a great place to stay!

The Elagh View B&B was a delightful place to stay with its amazing views and comfortable room, loved the bed!! A wonderful helpful host that cooked the most delicious breakfast. I would recommend the Elagh View B&B to everyone especially those who enjoy the country lifestyle.

The host(s) were warm and friendly. Mary gave us suggestions for restaurants and it was an excellent choice. The breakfast table was beautifully set. It was so clean and the beds were comfortable. Beautiful scenery (except for the low-income housing across the street) from three sides. We would definitely stay there again.

Convenient and peaceful location on the outskirts of Derry; very easy to find. Lovely countryside views. Mary and Jimmy were most friendly, accommodating and ever ready with helpful information. Rooms were comfortable and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was made to order with a good variety available for all tastes. The cooked breakfast was absolutely first class! We would stay there again without hesitation - who needs hotels!

Owners were very friendly and made us a cup of tea on arrival. The power shower was great.

The bathroom window had no curtains or blinds.

The B&B was great with a magnificent outlook to the fields and animals. Host Mary was fantastic, could not do enough to assist, much appreciated.

A little difficult to find without a Satnav but well worth the stay.

Warm welcome. Lovely room and no stairs! Quiet area,

We missed having real coffee for breakfast. Tea making things are only in the public lounge, not the bedroom.

The hosts were very welcoming and it was like walking into a normal "Home" environment. The room had tastefully neutral decor and a very comfortable bed. This room came with Private Use of a bathroom which was located immediately across the hall, so very convenient. I arrived in the daylight so found the B&B quite easily but could imagine if you were arriving at night and not familiar with the area that you could easily get a bit confused. It was lovely looking out the bedroom window at 9 o'clock at night and seeing sheep running around the green paddocks. Breakfast was delicious and again, being able to enjoy lovely views of the surrounding hills was just amazing for my first trip to Ireland. I drove into Londonderry to meet up with relatives and the town centre was very close by and easy to get to. Being close to the border I decided to drive across and explore the area a bit before heading back to Belfast. The Host was very helpful indeed in providing brochures and ideas of where to go and what to do. Thank you for a lovely stay.

You immediately feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. I will definitely try to stay there again if i go back to Derry.

The only fault i can find is that it is a bit far from the centre and not easy to find on a GPS, but once you're there you forget about these little annoyances
