Score from 419 reviews Very good
We were staying here while attending our daughters wedding. It was a very comfortable hotel and we were afforded every assistance which helped to make our weekend very special.
On 2 occasions ( breakfast & dinner ) the food/drinks took too long to come. Over 45 minutes for breakfast and 1 hour for dinner.
Excellent service great location.
Lounge area and staff were warm and accommodating. Bedrooms a good size and comfortable
That for the price there is no breakfast included, I would expect even just a basic continental to be included at a place like this. It makes a big difference.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a home from home place to stay, and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Welcomed with a smile, built a positive rapport with staff at reception, they were efficient and friendly.. We was shown to our room, was very helpful and was at hand when I needed their assistance! No matter what time of the day/night
I hate to write anything negative about a place so well organised but I have to be honest: - Room Tempareture was malfunctioning so it got really stuffy and irritable - tried to switch the ceiling fan on but apparently the fuse was broken.. I reported the problem with reception and they kindly supplied us with a portable fan which they bought to the room..
Easy free parking, elegant beautiful rooms. My room had a roll top bath in the actual bedroom. Good quality breakfast.
Some noise very early morning with departing guests (banging doors etc.)
Excellent location, quirky layout and friendly welcoming staff. Comfortable spacious bedrooms with extra touches. Hotel a short stroll from Didsbury village has easy access to city centre and motorways. Would definitely retun to this hotel
Breakfast! Rather disappointing for a 4 star hotel. No fresh fruit or yogurt. Coffee served in cup had to ask for refill and also if toast was available. Hot breakfast was well cooked but overall not value for money.
Shower was a good size. Tastefully decorated but finish not up to boutique hotel standard
The staff did not make any eye contact looked bored and barely greeted us which is unusual since the hotel setting is so intimate. There was mold on the ceiling of the shower and a broken toilet roll holder. The king size bed was two beds joined together not the most comfortable.
Staff and the whole place well done
Comfortable beds with good pillows and mattress toppers nice rooms tea and coffee facilities with fresh milk is a nice touch
11 am checkout is too early no Wash Cloths
We had an eclectic room which I expected to be much bigger than it was
the Price. £144 per person per night for a not particularly luxurious doubleroom, breakfast not included is just not right. No bathrobe, no privacy in the bathroom, no wash towels ---
Featured decoration, small but beautiful garden.
The bedroom is bit small, the light is too dark for working and lack of chairs in the room.
Great breakfast Lovely ambience with Classic FM on in the background everywhere and pre-set in room - I wouldn't have thought to tune to this on arrival but loved it! Helpful and friendly staff Really quirky imaginative design features everywhere that worked well.
Having to pay extra for WiFi in this day and age! In a place of this calibre it should be free
IT WAS NOT FAR FROM RESTAURANTS TO EAT AT NIGHT BREAKFAST EXPENSIVE SO ATE ELSE WHERE
Loved the comfortable lounge, breakfast room, outdoor area & our room easily accessible on the ground floor! Also delicious sandwiches & customer service.
Clear shower screen in bedroom. Prefer more privacy.
Lovely welcome and room warm and cosy with tasteful decor
Breakfast should be included in overnight stay price. Had a very less than average eggs benedict, eggs hard boiled virtually quite poor for £15 butter was given to us rock hard from fridge (un spreadable ) details that matter in what is a lovely little boutique Hotel!
Decor, Shower, Lounge.
No air conditioning and it was very warm inside. Disappointing Fish & Chips. Very nice but staff thin on ground so had to wait a few times.
Very comfortable beds and pillows. Relaxed atmosphere. Delicious (but pricey) breakfast.
No face flannels
Everything! We stayed for one night before an early flight from manchester airport m we usually stay at Bewleys but it was too expensive on this occasion so we decided to treat ourselves to a Didsbury night out Staff were really welcoming when we arrived and showed us to our room, which was beautifully presented and comfortable. The bathroom had temple spa products and everything has been provided for a relaxing stay. We had a drink in the garden before going out for dinner. We will return!
the room was quite hot for me and we couldn't get it as cool with the air conditioning as I would have liked but otherwise a great stay
Although our stay was very short, the room was comfortable, stylish and the building and setting beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too.
Comfortable pretty room with good shower
The chicken burger was disappointing
Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are good but I've stayed in the same or better for better value
