Lovely decor - quite chic. Very comfortable. Excellent food. Too many 'extra'S.... Breakfast not included in the rice, extra charge for wi-fi. The hotel is beautiful but over priced.

The hotel staff greeted us with a friendly smile and were helpful throughout our stay. Hotel ideally suited for a trip into didsbury or Manchester. Decor beautiful, the room was lovely and clean and quite quirky and different in design. Garden is lovely. We had a pre dinner drink in the heated patio area, and also enjoyed the garden view at breakfast. Our full English option was very nice and well cooked. We had a lovely time, and would definitely return.

The whole place is beatuifully appointed and designed. The room was faultless and the staff very freindly. The garden adn aptio area are an oasis of pecae after the hurly burly of Manchester. Breakfast was excellent and I would not hesittate to stay there again.

The hotel is a converted Victorian town house and the conversion has been carried out extremely well. Understated elegance is the term that best describes this hotel. However, what stood out for me was the friendliness of the staff and the attention to detail throughout. There are charming little touches everywhere you look. I also enjoyed one of the best hotel cooked breakfasts I've ever had whilst staying here! After we'd checked out three of us went for a walk and then popped back into the hotel for a cup of tea - there was no charge for this, a nice gesture.

The location was excellent for my purpose. The hotel staff were very friendly and cooperative. The room was satisfactory and well prepared but lacking in space but it had all the facilities required. I breakfasted at the hotel and the food was well prepared and presented, if a little bit pricey. However, should the need arise I would stay at Eleven Didsbury Park again. There is a lack of car parking spaces and the Hotel signage could be made more prominent as I drove past it twice before finally locating the entrance.

nice area. Well kept hotel. nice decor, v clean and comfortable, very welcoming ,Liked the cat. Thought the price of breakfast was a bit expensive. Maybe if you told guests what they were getting for the money that might persuade some to take breakfast.

The location in Didsbury and the smart appearance inside and outside. Our room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. It is only offering reasonable value for money. Breakfast is extra. A credit card swipe was taken at the beginning of our stay for a higher amount than the contracted price so as to cover any possible extras that we might order. Obviously we knew at the time that we would not pay for extras that we did not purchase, but the message conveyed by this initial concern 'are they good for the money?' Is not a welcoming one. In the end we made sure that we did not order anything extra over and above the room price and went round the corner to a cafe for morning coffee. It was excellent value for money. We were in a room in the roof and the window was rather small and high.

The house was beautiful and had been converted into a hotel with real style. The room was very comfortable, and I could have stayed in bed all day. It was quite pricey

We loved the design of the hotel, the comfort of the room and the friendly relaxed atmosphere. The location was delightful, as its only a short walk to the restaurants of Didsbury, and the location of the hotel itself is in a quiet leafy suburb. There are frequent buses into the city so we parked up the car in the free car park. We thought the breakfast a little pricey if you don't eat much at breakfast time. The room rate was however, reasonable and we walked into the village for a lovely breakfast at The Deli.

Actually we didn't stay there, the day before our visit we were contacted by the hotel staff to say they were having urgent maintenance on one of our booked days and had transferred our booking to their sister hotel, The Didsbury House Hotel, we were miffed but they offered us an upgrade and the location was near. The hotel was great - we were impressed and may use this hotel on the next visit to our daughter in Manchester. So obviously this review is about The Didsbury House Hotel I think the towels could be whiter and softer.......... That's my only comment

We don't stay in hotels a great deal, so perhaps there are people out there who are fussier than we are, but we thought this place was great. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, great shower. Digital tv reception a bit dodgy (but it was just after the analogue switch-off) but who goes to a hotel to watch tv? We passed on brekkers which struck us a bit pricey.

The hotel had a nice intimate feel, Home from Home. Very comfortable and clean and relaxed. Great decor. We were allocated room 10 which was on the ground floor, on the corridor to the dining room kitchens etc and stairway, so quite noisy, awoken at 7 am by children, and could hear conversations as people walked past. Would have preferred to be upstairs, also not the cheapest room available which I think it should have been.

The hotel room we were given was stuffy-no aircon only heating and a small sky-light window.. We requested another room, only to be offered a room by the driveway/carpark so it would not be possible to open window. It may have been a Boutique hotel once but it requires considerable inprovemnents, upgrading fittings in bathroom etc to even qualify for this now
