Very comfortable beds and pillows. Relaxed atmosphere. Delicious (but pricey) breakfast.
No face flannels
Everything! We stayed for one night before an early flight from manchester airport m we usually stay at Bewleys but it was too expensive on this occasion so we decided to treat ourselves to a Didsbury night out Staff were really welcoming when we arrived and showed us to our room, which was beautifully presented and comfortable. The bathroom had temple spa products and everything has been provided for a relaxing stay. We had a drink in the garden before going out for dinner. We will return!
the room was quite hot for me and we couldn't get it as cool with the air conditioning as I would have liked but otherwise a great stay
Although our stay was very short, the room was comfortable, stylish and the building and setting beautiful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful too.
Comfortable pretty room with good shower
The chicken burger was disappointing
Breakfast is amazing. Rooms are good but I've stayed in the same or better for better value
We spent one night at Eleven Didsbury Park on our way to the Lakes and we enjoyed it! The hotel is very comfortable and very clean in addition to being lovely and cozy.
Just a word of caution: there is no elevator in case you need it or have large sized luggage.
Comfortable bed Helpful staff Lovely house and garden Wifi in room
The hotel does not have air-conditioning at all, although it claimed to have it on this website. The room is tiny and very hot, even though the weather outside was cool. The helpful staff brought a fan which helped to move the hot air around.
The bed linen and towels. Location. The staff. The lounge area was lovely.
The actual room. It was very small and stupidly hot! Because it was so hot I couldn't sleep, the staff tried to help here by bringing a fan and would have changed rooms if there was another one available they would have. It wasn't very clean either, not in general cleaning as that was good so this isn't an issue with cleaning staff but carpets need replacing for example. If this was 50 pounds a night I wouldn't complain as would expect to have issues such as this. I love staying in original places and love quirky but needs to be comfortable and practical as well. This sadly wasn't the place for me. I'm very easy going so it's unusual for me to complain but feel I have to be honest!
friendly, helpful staff, very good food especially the irish breakfast, nice relaxing atmosphere
Friendly, well furnished luxury rooms. very comfortable beds and pillows
expensive breakfast but it was good
Comfortable, chic surroundings, with the right staff and great facilities.
I received a complimentary upgrade because I thought my room came with a roll top bath. The room was smaller than the one booked but it was perfect. I loved the furnishing. The spotlights over the roll top bath operated by a dimmer switch. The CD player was great to listen to my music whilst relaxing in the bath.
The room was very hot I had to keep the fan on for most of the night. The fact that breakfast was 13.50 for continental and £15 for full English. I didn't take breakfast, it was too expensive.
Staff very friendly, room very clean and comfortable.
Full English breakfast overpriced and service not that quick - had to go in search of a second cup of coffee.
Staff were very helpful and efficient.
Only one tiny thing - ordered a newspaper but didn't receive it.
Everything! Food was fantastic and Staff were Lovely. Rooms were AMAZING!
Friendly helpful staff
Vegetarian sausages at breakfast - they were hard
I like to travel and shop around the world.
I didn't like to eat and read.
A nice, friendly, comfortable place.
Food not great at all.
Puts most Manchester hotels to shame. Excellent, excellent, excellent
Beautifully furnished. Superb garden with a wonderful hammock! More like home than a hotel.
TV equipment was not great and reception poor.
We loved the garden and enjoyed a quiet bottle of chilled white wine there after a busy couple of days. The ambience inside the hotel was lovely amd relaxing.
Our room (10) was a bit noisy with people using the corridor outside the door to get to the breakfast room/dining area, as was the rest area outside for staff members at cetain times. The television was a bit on the small side. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, would have been nicer to have a curtain to draw across.
Fantastic hotel, superb ambience, great location.
the breakfast was a bit pricey
I stay at this hotel and the other one at the end of the road as they are luxury hotels in old homes that have been renovated. The bed linen is excellent and the bathrooms great.
