Although we knew it would be a continental style breakfast served to the room it was a let down as the eating arrangements in the room were very poor. The table in the room was a very small round table which meant it was impossible to place the food on it and eat from it. Your breakfast was by your feet! The provided food was adequate but was not what you would call quality. For two it consisted of an apple, a pear or a banana, four of those small cereal selection boxes, a pint of milk in it's supermarket plastic bottle, a warm bread roll & two hard boiled eggs (with eggcups, why?) wrapped in tin foil, two prepacked catering butter portions, one piece of prepacked 'rubber' cheese, prepacked jam portion and two small cardboard boxed orange drinks with straws that pierce the top. All courtesy of Lidl or Aldi I suspect, at minimal cost. The experience was akin to camping without the fresh air. The bathroom was small, immaculately clean, but lacked simple things like a hook to hang clothes on and no shelving for toiletries near the sink which was the smallest sink I'd ever seen.Shaving foam can or make-up between your feet time. The shower was extremely cramped and the water flow nothing short of pathetic. With a rethink in the bathroom, a larger table and chairs (the room was big enough), better quality food and better presentation this could have been a place to recommend, Unfortunately it is not.
The location and free parking were a bonus. Cleanliness was very good.
