Very welcoming couple, great breakfast choices deliciously prepared. Very comfortable bed leading to great nights sleep. I just wish we had had more time to enjoy everything on offer, we stayed two nights and were out until late evening at a wedding. I can just imagine returning after a days walking or touring to the delights of tea and cakes in front of a real fire. We were given some brownies to take away, yum.
Lovely breakfast especially homemade potato cakes and jam.
The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, but not overpowering. Lots of lovely individual touches to the stay from the relaxed chat over a glass of wine on arrival to the home cooking, breakfast choices and even a glass of port in the room. I was made to feel at home and the whole stay was very enjoyable.
Small sink in the bathroom but that was unavoidable due to the size of the en suite.
Warm, friendly welcome Extremely helpful Quality breakfast with home-made items Complimentary glass of wine, biccies & sweets Quiet rural location but close to plenty of pubs for dinner
Cloakroom size sink
We particularly liked the warm reception from Samantha and Ian, the attractive garden and surroundings and the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Also we very much enjoyed our breakfast!
The only thing we found missing was a chair in the bedroom!
