The hosts - nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile. The bedroom, breakfast, tranquility, staircases, fridge in bedroom + sofa.

very friendly owners. clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay and very good breakfast overall no problems at all. and would stay again.and we would like to thank em for a good stay over made our trip problem free .

the room and facilities were excellent - bed very cumfy. breakfast was freshly cooked hosts were a very good balance between being interested - and not overly fussing

nothing - if needed would be back there in a flash

Lovely setting, fabulous breakfast and the biggest bed ever! The bedroom was huge and the bathroom had a large walk in shower. Mandy and John were wonderful hosts.

The owners were really helpful and friendly it was very clean and comfortable, they even dropped us off at a local restaurant, they were also flexible with the breakfast as two in the company had a walk which meant an early start on the Saturday. No complaints at all

Friendly hosts clean and comfortable great access to the countryside and coast modern and fairly spacious nice relaxed atmosphere access to a lounge and kitchen was an unexpected bonus

boarded floors are a bit squeaky but not really a problem would have preferred to have been able to lock our rooms but the probability of any theft in such a remote location with only 3 rooms is I guess very low!

The steep brick path approaching the door was slippery.

My teenage daughter was sitting some sat exams in nearby St Bees and we just needed a comfortable bed for the night, so we didn't make use of any of the local area really. We had a very comfortable twin room with a sofa, tv, kettle and a huge bathroom. The full English breakfast was cooked to order at 6.45am which was very good of the owners to get up so early to cater for us and the other teenagers that were staying for the same reason. We all sat around the same table for breakfast which was great as we were able to meet others in the same position as us, but I probably wouldn't have liked that had I gone away with my husband. On the coast-to-coast walk, which I imagine would be spectacular.

accomodation was very comfortable

They had no record of our booking, even though I had a print of the confirmation. Whilst they were still able to accomodate us, at another time of the year we might have found ourselves with no bed for the night.

Great place to stay, warm friendly atmosphere, top rate finish to rooms. Well done you guys, keep it up, may see you again soon.

Not much of a comment to add but we had booked Ellerbeck Barns and it is the same venue, probable a misunderstanding on website. this will not deter us from staying again.
