Lovely house, rooms are beautiful, lovely breakfast, great hosts. Great location for sightseeing.
Bed was a double, comfortable but a little too small for us :(
The old house comforts and surrondings. The food was superb. The owner was very freindly and the advice was very useful.
A reading light in my room would have been useful. The TV signal was poor.
quiet,old style décor,friendly staff.lounge area was a bonus
Everything was perfect a very enjoyable stay will be returning soon.
Everything! Fabulous welcome, wonderful setting and beautiful rooms. Staff where very attentive and couldn't have been more helpful & friendly.
Having to leave!
Looking a bit tired
Excellent breakfasts. The staff and owners were very friendly and gave good advice on where to visit. Very clean and comfortable beds and rooms. Lovely hotel all round.
Nothing of note.
Comfortable bed and lovely view with en suite bathroom. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. breakfast very good. House is situated in it's own quiet picturesque grounds. would definitely recommend a stay here.
Had to get used to the creaky staircase, but that was forgiveable given the age of the house.
Friendly staff, excellent food and environment
The warm welcome on arrival, the owners constant attention to detail, the very comfortable beds and the delicious food!
Enjoyed the stay, very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Bed a little hard but I'm fussy and not a good sleeper!
Accommodation, staff and facilities all fine.
Accommodation perfectly satisfactory but has some inconvenience for business people as breakfast not before 8.30am and evening meal choice had to be pre-ordered the day before
The owners really looked after us and made the whole experience pre and post ironman a pleasure. A beautiful setting, close to Tenby and the early breakfast and camaraderie with other athletes made it a really special trip!
Not a great shower in room 1, a very minor complaint but a power shower after the race would have been nice
Lovely location, elegant accommodation and very welcoming hosts. Rare to find somewhere so peaceful as there is no traffic noise. The silence was broken only by a few crows returning home to roost! Hope to return and would definitely recommend.
Elm Grove was very good, excellent in fact. Very good breakfast menu, lovely attic room, very quiet location. Owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Just a few minutes from Tenby.
Nothing to dislike.
The welcome with tea and cake. The owners know how to make their guests comfortable and well fed. Beautiful accommodation and grounds.
Location, friendliness of staff, breakfast
We ate at the pub (The Sun Inn)which was a very traditional pub and had loads of atmosphere for a drink. However the meal was not good. It was microwaved to death and not well presented. There is another restaurant nearby which may have been better or you can eat at Elm Grove. Should have done so.
Surroundings were beautiful Staff lovely Breakfast good choices Room lovely especially if you like country house style
Shower in our room was poor
Stunning location Great service Warm welcome Friendly staff Nice short walk to village Lovely room Lovely breakfast, great choice on menu Great having a games room for guests
Having to leave so soon. Would have loved to have stayed longer
Friendly couple and staff. Quite location. First class food and accommodation. Clean well kept house. Nothing was to much trouble. We believe it is the best B&B we have had the privilege to stay at. Looking forward to our next visit. Well done Jane & Alan we believe you have just got it right keep up your good work. Regards Adele & Mike Farmery
Having to leave them after three super days
Beautiful setting in a very pretty village. Easy walking through beautiful countryside straight from the doorstep. Excellent choices for breakfast and well cooked. Host was very attentive and helpful. I liked pick of the day tips for things to do and places to visit
Not having a chair to sit on in my bedroom (just a stool) I found the lounge a little dark for easy reading .
The scores I have given above speaks for itself. The icing on the cake as far as my wife and I were concerned is that we only mentioned to the owner briefly that we were on our 45th anniversary break and were greeted with a card and chocolates the day of our anniversary at breakfast. A class act from a superb location. Would highly recommend it.
House is lovely full of character Staff are great very approachable. Good choices for breakfast we did not have evening meal so cannot comment although the menus looked good. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and we'll stocked everybody could not do enough for you. Top of my list for short stay in the area.
Did'nt want to come home so relaxing you felt like you had had a week after being here only 4 days.
Friendly, welcoming staff who can't do enough for you. Really warm welcome with a pot of tea and welsh cakes waiting for us. Really good quality food which is presented to a high standard. Stunning location which is extremely peaceful and not far from Tenby town itself.
My partner and I stayed in this hotel for one night and if we had more time we would have tried to stay longer. The husband and wife team that run the hotel are friendly and made us feel at home. When they found out that we were newly weds they gave us a card and box of handmade chocolates which was a very kind gesture. The hotel itself is very traditional looking and is decorated and cleaned to a extremely high standard, with all the modern facilities e.g. t.v, dvd player (dvd library in hotel) and wifi. The hotel also has a tennis court, table tennis, pool table and play area for young children. We were about 3miles from Tenby and cost us about £10 for a taxi home after a great night out. We would definitely stay here again!
