Value for money, helpful staff with an incredibly efficient breakfast waiter. Room was comfortable with good tv choice of programmes, probably best of its kind in the area. |

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The bedding could have been improved. It was very clean, but not very soft or comfortable, especially the pillows. |

Good car parking facilities. The orange juice at breakfast was nice! Fixtures and fittings in poor condition, very dated. Due to it's age the plastic bath bent when standing in it to use the shower, which itself had a hose that was too short. Funny stale smell in communal areas. The breakfast, served on a tea plate, was fried in old oil and was inedible. |

Easy to find. It was possible to check-in late in the evening. Good surroundings. Could have dinner at the hotel (good food and moderate prices). |

Convenient for my requirements. All male staff. As I was a lone female and felt most unwelcome. When paying for my stay, booking out, the gentleman receiving my payment was not even pleasant, it appeared that he could not wait to get rid of me. Not what I expect from any hotel! I would not recommend this hotel to female colleagues and will not be staying there again. |

It was easy to find and a good location for the university open day we were attending. Worn and tired appearance. It was OK for a one night stopover but I wouldn't choose it for say a week's stay / holiday |

The location and the breakfast Despite the decor being outdated and in need of renewal (summed up in the existing summary of the hotel which was brilliantly described by a previous guest as 'having seen better days') I felt they could have done a better job with the neatness and tidiness of the hotel to make a better impression |

The convenient location; the warm comfortable room with en suite bathroom; the full English breakfasts; and although I did not use them, the ample parking spaces. |

The bar/dinning/lounge area has a big plasma screen and there's always lots of atmosphere. Lots of tradies and business people staying so easy to meet people. Food was good including free 3 course breakfast. Plenty of secure parking. Only sugeestions would be - the picnic area at rear could use a gas bbq and more chairs/tables undercover. Rooms and shared bathrooms are busic but clean. Will stay again. |

The food was good (Steak & Chips / Cooked Breakfast). The man on duty when I arrived was helpful - saw I had a laptop and gave me the router code. It appears very run down, especially the toilet areas. The value price of the room with cooked breakfast - I got what I expected! |

I would describe this hotel as basic, but excellent value for money. It not all brand new with TFT screens in the rooms etc., as you find in some more expensive hotels - but the breakfast was good and the room was very clean and acceptable. I would go back. |

leaving in the morning Mould on the windows, difficulty in ordering our breakfast in english, 1970's decor smell of ciggerette smoke in room corridor, having to unplug the tv to put the kettle on, booked a double room for two but only 1 towel and cup present. I understand that the hotel tradeemploys a lot of foreign workers but the least you expect is for them to understand english, ordering breakfast by numbers is not on. |
