The location is great just a 2 mintues walk from Kingscross station so easy access for the tube.Breakfast is limted but for the price quiet good for London hotels. Well it is a basic hotel, there is no lift so it's a steep stair's to climb to my room on the top floor .My T.V. was not working at first till I told the front of house ,which they sorted out.

It was fine, and it was what we expected for the cost. It would be nice to know that there was no lift when we had a room on the third floor. So we would recommend the hotel if there were a way to let people know there is no lift.

We stayed here the night prior to travelling on the train from St Pancras; hotel was a 5 minute walk away. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.

The location: near Underground station Room size(small) and the fact that I have to pay then to keep my luggages after the check-out(10 pounds). No other hotel I've been charged this fee.

The location was fantastic, steps away from King's Cross station. Our room was clean, the furnishings were new and the hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms are not soundproof. We could hear guests in adjoining rooms throughout the night, and doors closing as people came and went in the morning and evening.

The reception staff were very polite on arrival, the room and over all decor was well below the standard I would expect for the price per night. The en-suite bathroom was like stepping back in time to the 1920's, and the shower was at best a dribble. Breakfast although included in the room price was a joke, I was only allocated 2 X slices of bread, cold hard boild egg and some cheese. Although comfortable I will not be staying there again out of choice.

The Manager was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the rooms are tiny. The bathroom was so small the toilet had to be set on an angle. But there was plenty of hot water and the room was clean.

Friendly helpful staff. Location - very good for Eurostar. Fair size room for a budget hotel. The bed was squeaky - don't ask for room 14! I could not sleep at all as every time one of us moved the bed made a terrible noise. It's a good job we weren't there for a romantic break!

Budget hotel. No frills although reasonable continental breakfast (insufficient seating in breakfast room ). Was still expensive (for a budget hotel), but that probably reflects London's popularity as a destination.

close to King's Cross station with fast access to the city center. Family room for 2 adults and 3 children Bathroom was below standards: shower tap was leaking, curtain was dirty, no towel rack. Room door could not be locked during the night. Breakfast room was too small for the hotel. In short: if you want a room to sleep in and a breakfast in the morning, Elmwood hotel will provide it. If you want a hotel with comfort, cleanliness and good quality, you better choose another hotel.

Very near Kings Cross, near to that and Euston Train Station. Also right on Victoria underground line, connecting to many other lines. The staff was very little helpfull. The bedroom was small (could be acceptable for price and considering to be London) and the bathroom not so clean, as the suspicious bed sheets (which is not acceptable).

Easy to reach after a late Eurostar train Granted it is basic, but surely a plug in the washbasin is not counted as a luxury especially when the south-east is getting short of water. Pity they felt they had to charge for the safe (awkward to use so we gave up) and for left luggage (questionable how secure it really was). Breakfast unexciting but I suppose it stoked the boiler.

Handy for my conference location - a major reason for choice, and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful, good recommendation for somewhere to eat. Single room was very small and basic - turning round carelessly in the shower cubicle could be a bruising experience!

The wifi worked. After complaining about the 3.5% credit card fee I was allocated a small dingy room with 3 beds but virtually no space for one to move about. The en suite smelt damp and the hot water ran out before I'd finished my shower. The strange metal bedstead was too big for the mattress so that I kept banging into it in the small space. Breakfast consisted of the cheapest ingredients - cheap instant coffee and White sliced bread. My two slice toast ration included the crust.
