The service over breakfast was lovely and well cooked, the room was spacious and it was lovely being next to the sea. for the price of the room, not bad.
The room we had had a leak from the shower upstairs.
Internet can use at rooms.
Need parking, street parking need to pay, cant find near by parking. When you open tap dirty water came.Fire alarm not working.
The rooms were dirty and not cleaned during our stay. If a risk assessment had been carried out the place would have been condemned. The windows were in danger of falling from the rotting frames. Mish mash of furniture. If the curtains had been washed they would have fallen apart.
The location Breakfast was good
Dirty shower curtain. No toiletries. Poor quality bed. Uncovered carpets.
Location and price. Clean bedclothes and hot water.
Very tatty with rough edges
the location, and the sea view from my window.
Well no one could really understand english. The rooms are very basic old worn out furniture, shower did not work, no hand towels, duvets were as thin as tissue paper. Bar never open, hardly saw anyone on reception. etc
Location and breakfast after telling them to actually cook my bacon and egg
Duvet was ripped along the bottom so hanging out. Carpets and walls were filthy and the shower was a joke
the location was great the food was great was great value for the money staff were pleasant and helpful and the room had what i needed for one night i will go back hopefully next time get a room with a view of the sea
no dryer in the room
First impressions last, the room we stayed in was the worst hotel room I have ever stayed-in.The bathroom was so small and dirty it was a health hazard, the bar had 2 tables and 4 chairs, which did not matter because it never opened. The rooms were so dirty it puts you off staying there, and then you have the running water when It rains please fix the drain pipes people are paying good money they want to sleep not listen to water crashing down the outside of the window
Location Sea view Good standard of food cheap and chearful
small shower and not up to standard
Breakfast and polite staff in restaurant
Hotel needs good clean and completely refurbishing. We do not consider ourselves as fussy however if it wasn't for the fact the sheets were the only clean items in the room we wouldn't have stayed. We had to ask for towels as nothing in bathroom other than toilet roll fortunately. It was a shame because we felt if some money was put into improving the look of the hotel by a lick of paint etc then it would be more popular. Truly believe they rely on new comers as don't see anyone returning sorry
Staff not very cheerful
Breakfast, friendly staff, clean room, bedding, towels
Base of bed broke twice, carpets stained throughout hotel, windows wouldn't close properly
everything about this hotel was superb
Room. Needs painting
Location was good an cheap hotel so for the money it was a fair price but wouldn't want stay more than 1 night. Bedding was clean so that was a good thing.
Staff not very helpful mainly because most didn't speak English, rooms need updating as well.
room was disgusting, filthy and furniture cheap and flimsy.changed rooms to slightly improved one but still dirty.hotel needs closing down waste of money
Dirty wall in bedroom &window
parking outside on the road Sea front Friendly staff good breakfast
Great location,Quite cheap,breakfast ok.
Dirty rooms, dirty bedding, lamp shade was filthy, Think the council use this hotel as emergency accomodation for homeless people.
Didn't feel safe in room as very isolated and next to a fire escape which someone tried to get in middle of night. Not happy with cleanliness - stained and scruffy décor, radiator dirty with spattered blood on it - need I go on!
the breakfast was nice an freshly cooked
old with no lift and the shower was a bit of a joke. However the price was extremely low for this time of year so for me it was to be expected that the hotel was not top quality
where it was , people was nice
dirty in rooms
The price was very appealing,it's a 2 minute walk to the high street and it's right on the sea front which has very nice views. I would recommend this hotel again and will probabaly be returning soon.
