The staff were lovely and the food was fantastic.

Beds are not very comfortable.

Friendly helpful staff. Room slightly tired looking but at £48 for 2 people including nice breakfast on a bank holiday weekend can't complain

The hotel was perfect for the price. The location was more than perfect. Very near to the sea, shops and restaurants.

Quite a lot. The lift to the upper floors was not working. The shower to room to 105 was not working. Although we informed the staff both at reception and the sister hotel, the Iris, on Friday, the shower was not repaired until Saturday afternoon as we had to complain again. In the meantime, we were offered the shower in room 115 where the shower frame was held together with brown postal tape. The hotel requires an expensive uplift. We would prefer a refund or part refund of the invoice. The window sill is filthy dirty, the duvets inside the covers were filthy.

Excellent location at a brilliant price

It was a friendly establishment. The beds were very comfy, great mattresses and light quilts instead of the cardboard duvets most places hold. Good coffee in the morning too.

A little to hot for my taste but mam loved the heat. Had trouble getting the shower to heat up (but i needed to cool off anyhow)

It was cheap . and location was lovely.

The bed was underneath the window so the light woke me at 6 am . the shower was broke and staff didnt tell me to turn wateer on for shower. Telly bad reception and no remote , breakfast was pretty good apart fromt the cold bacon and hard sausage , nice toast coffe and cereal . for the money I felt wrong to complain , but these are simple things can could have made a huge difference.

Excellent location and value for money. Room was clean but dated, breakfast was good.

Sadly the hotel is very tired and dated. The bathroom in my particular room didn't have room to swing a cat! :-) The shower was most unwelcoming, pieced together with garden hose and shower tray made to fit with rotted/warped pieces of wood. I don't wish to appear negative but this hotel seriously needs some TLC and has great potential with some renovation.

In a perfect position on the sea-front, just a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. This was a 'lads' trip away for a weekend and suited our purposes perfectly. Would use again.
