Situated just off the A1 and close to both the M25 and M1 highways, this hotel is only 16 miles from the newly rebuilt Wembley Stadium. Elstree and Borehamwood train station is just 2 miles from the hotel, making Holiday Inn London Elstree an ideal base for both the business traveler and tourist. London Heathrow and London Luton airports are within 20 miles of the hotel. The hotel features a health club with sauna, large heated swimming pool, and jacuzzi. All of the Holiday Inn's modern rooms offer private bathrooms with showers, TVs, and toiletries. Guests can dine at O'Sullivan's Restaurant, and the bar and lounge offers an informal area to enjoy a light snack or drink. There are excellent golf courses nearby and the RAF Museum in Hendon is 10 minutes away. Lakeside Shopping Center is easily accessible via the M25 highway. Quality, well-provisioned hotel with gymnasium and swimming pool. Convenient location for A1 and railway link to London. Large car park. Plenty of room to load/unload and turn in front of reception area. The entrance to the car park can be tricky to spot from the road - particularly if travelling in heavy traffic. From that point of view the location is not ideal. A large well-positioned entrance sign would be useful. You have to remember to take a token to operate the car park exit barrier. A good idea - provided you remember !

Not much to be honest, the girl on reception was useless and really didn't care, I asked for a double room and got a twin with one bed with a broken leg. The tv didn't work properly and breakfast was awful. Service price attitude of staff

On arrival we had a drink at the bar and the Becks cloudy and bad so I had to retun this. Our room tv didn't work, from 6pm I asked 4 time to have this fixed and we returned at 11pm and sitll no working tv. (It never did). There was a light that didn't work and cobwebs handing from the lights.. Breckfast was also poor, the food was cool and sitting in fat. Overall a poor experiance!

The convenient position I was over charged - I had to go and get a refund. The woman who checked me in was also quite rude about to me when I pointed out that you couldn't select double or twin on the online booking system.

The hotel itself is nice and good but we were there during the weekend so very noisy as there is a club right next to the hotel. Can still hear people making a lot of noise very late at night.

Location was great as we were going to a wedding. Comfortable and clean and friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Only complaint was that there was only one bath towel!

Breakfast & Location Generally the hotel was fine. However the shower head was broken and could not be used. The safe in my room malfunctioned and could not be opened for 3 hours. No one in the hotel could fiy it this meant they had to call in an external service to resolve the problem

The hotel is ideally situated for my family to visit the area. I booked 2 rooms for my son and his young family and us "mature customers" The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the rooms clean and tidy, just what I would expect from The Holiday Inn, a very high standard. It would be nice to have some complimentary bottles of water, say 2 small units. Not all people drink tea or coffee and I don't fancy the water from the taps.

It was ideally located for meeting family and friends and usually Holiday Inns have a fairly high standard. We have stayed at this Holiday Inn on many occasions and would always feel we have had value for money with all services and facilities up to a good standard. However, this time our room had a noisy air condition unit and the bath room needed a good clean. I could have asked to be moved, but it was late when we arrived at the room and it was only one night. I pointed the above out when we checked out, the reception said they would enter onto the computer in future to give us a quiet room! And that they were aware of the noisy air con unit.

600yds to my event Staff refused to help with luggage to rooms, took 20 mins to find room at 00:40 upon arrival. Room was tired, marks on table bath panel was very loose Air Conditioning didn't work

1. Queues for breakfast when there were plenty of tables laid up for dinner. 2. Noise from corridors and squeaky housekeeping doors 3. Poor quality ingredients at breakfast (particularly fruit juices)
