room, breakfast ,helpful staff
The receptionist Marco was a very nice man, made us feel very welcome.
The hotel is in need of a complete revamp, the bathroom floor could be replaced, the taps in the sink did not work, the stairs to our room. We're very steep and narrow no handrail. I have slept in better hotels for less money.
A pleasant location .The staff were helpfull and the english breakfast was excellent.
The room was a little cramped but otherwise clean.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Very small room, no proper workspace and outdated.
I stayed because I was attending a training course at the hotel.
Only bar meals available on Saturday evening. It was excellent but was looking forward to dinner out!
Very nice location with quaint surroundings. They gave me personalized service on a level that can not be matched by larger hotels.
There was not always someone available when I needed assistance.
Located close to our head office and the town centre. Small, quiet, with friendly staff. Close to all local amenities.
Room size excellent and beds very comfy.
No double glazing, windows very old therefore noise from traffic kept us awake.
Friendly staff Food good
Very dated and needs a makeover
Staff nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast plenty of choice ample car parking.
It was on a very good location good carparking in a quiet soft and Lovely area. The hotel had a homie feeling, it was overall very Lovely.
Nice and quiet
Staff very good and helpful.
The hotel appeared unfinished in areas. Accommodation clean and comfortable but on small side. Room overlooked a very busy road, although double glazing minimised traffic noise. I don't really think it was value for money.
The bed was comfy enough, but despite being told I had a quiet room, I could still clearly hear the main road. Good job I had ear plugs!
Very tired and dated decor; a trickle of a shower; mediocre service from staff. But I suppose should one expect more for £55 a night?
The staff were pleasant
Extremely shabby. Smelt of stale tobacco in corridor. Cooked breakfast very unappetising, all egg yolks were broken and cold. We often stay in Maidenhead and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. The Thames Riviera for example, is same price or cheaper and far, far superior in every way.
Really friendly place to stay due to the great manager Marco
The guy that handles check in, bar service and several other jobs it seems is always friendly and helpful. Close for walking to the main street in Maidenhead and even closer to the pub for a good meal.
Wifi slowish, difficult stairs for those with a big suitcase.
Helpful staff and the Reception helped bringing my bag upstairs. No lifts.
Very poor bathroom, something like shower 60's style, not so clean. Very small bathroom, no window and instead balcony door opened to a common terrace. Zero comfort. Rooms must be renovated or price goes down. Do not recommend at any rate. Additionally burned my fingers with super hot plates at the breakfasts where they keep them on the same stove where beacon and sausages are kept. Slow and annoying staff at the breakfasts. Tried also restaurant one evening-did not like it and find it expensive for the quality. Not recommended.
The whole hotel staff and food
The Breakfast The Helpfull Staff It suited our needs totally for the location Taxi firms know it well Room Ok for 1 night, small but Ok for budget
The staff were excellent, polite without being pushy and without exception ready to help. The breakfast was good and facilities comfortable. It shows that England has some good accommodation,
Tiny Room V Basic

was a bit dated, neede a bit of tidying up outside
Staff very friendly
