This warm, friendly hotel on the River Thames has superb river views, a popular bar, great service and a new restaurant: Trevi Ristorante Italiano.

An elegant and beautifully preserved Victorian building, with ornamental ceilings and tasteful Eastern ornaments, in the leafy outskirts of Maidenhead, just off highway A4, 5 minutes from central...

Located on the scenic banks of the Thames, this hotel is ideal for Windsor, Legoland, Ascot Racecourse and London. Many rooms have small balconies and river views.

Walton Cottage is just a 10 minute walk from central Maidenhead. It offers bright, modern rooms with satellite TV and a restaurant with varied, changing menus.
Score from 102 reviews Very good
Room size excellent and beds very comfy.
No double glazing, windows very old therefore noise from traffic kept us awake.
Friendly staff Food good
Very dated and needs a makeover
Staff nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast plenty of choice ample car parking.
It was on a very good location good carparking in a quiet soft and Lovely area. The hotel had a homie feeling, it was overall very Lovely.
Nice and quiet
Staff very good and helpful.
The hotel appeared unfinished in areas. Accommodation clean and comfortable but on small side. Room overlooked a very busy road, although double glazing minimised traffic noise. I don't really think it was value for money.
Really friendly place to stay due to the great manager Marco
The guy that handles check in, bar service and several other jobs it seems is always friendly and helpful. Close for walking to the main street in Maidenhead and even closer to the pub for a good meal.
Wifi slowish, difficult stairs for those with a big suitcase.
Helpful staff and the Reception helped bringing my bag upstairs. No lifts.
Very poor bathroom, something like shower 60's style, not so clean. Very small bathroom, no window and instead balcony door opened to a common terrace. Zero comfort. Rooms must be renovated or price goes down. Do not recommend at any rate. Additionally burned my fingers with super hot plates at the breakfasts where they keep them on the same stove where beacon and sausages are kept. Slow and annoying staff at the breakfasts. Tried also restaurant one evening-did not like it and find it expensive for the quality. Not recommended.
The whole hotel staff and food
The Breakfast The Helpfull Staff It suited our needs totally for the location Taxi firms know it well Room Ok for 1 night, small but Ok for budget
The staff were excellent, polite without being pushy and without exception ready to help. The breakfast was good and facilities comfortable. It shows that England has some good accommodation,
Tiny Room V Basic
Helpfulness of staff
was a bit dated, neede a bit of tidying up outside
Staff very friendly
Price for quality of the room.
Nice ambiance, friendly service. Good beds, spacious bathroom (the executive single room)
Not a bad breakfast
My shower was in my room?! not in a bathroom, IN MY ROOM?! Room noisy and small just as well I was travelling alone. Tight stairs to get up and down, a bit of a warren. Staff have an obsession with locking doors to the car park which meant a trip around the hotel to find your way out, I thought it was some sort of quest!!
Ease of access to town centre and outlying areas and ring road. The fact that you could park easily. Breakfast arrangements were straightforward
The property was slightly dated in terms of layout and decor
Good place to stay in preparation for your stay or before you fly home for a couple of nights. Organised driver for trip from and to the airport.
Handy location for early start in Marlow.
wi-fi was good parking was good location was why I booked this hotel the staff were pleasant and helpful
Rooms at the front ,hot and lots of traffic noise. The shower didn't work well and the toilet didn't flush properly. Breakfast was not good - the sausages were inedible and having a buffet meant the egg were hard boiled and tasted as if it had been cooked hours ago. It would be better to cook to order especially as the hotel was almost empty. Very pricey for what it is
Breakfast needs to be better
Staff were friendly and accomodating. Good value for money.
There was a cockroach in my room.
walking distance from station; fairly quiet location;
shower was feeble, though warm enough; windows not secure when partially open (it was a very warm night) in my ground-floor room
A bit dated
