The location was quiet and miles from anywhere. The pub at the end of the lane was excellent.

The farm badly needs a face-lift, there was a scruffy marquee out side our bedroom window that had chairs stacked up inside, there were cigarette ends on the floor around the sitting out area. The tables and outside furniture were dirty and badly worn. The was only very ripe water melon and a few pieces of pineapple for fruit at breakfast. The bacon was dry and had been cooked for quite a while certainly not cooked to order.

The location was peaceful... very pretty rooms..

Would be nice to have a lighter less expensive evening meal option....also the choice of room service for breakfast..

The food in restaurant was good. Breakfast was fine nothing special. If you love country live you will love this place.

Don't let you misled by the word suite. It's a large room without luxury, old furniture, no refrigerator etc. small bathroom. When the last restaurant guest left you can't order any drinks etc.

Lighting dingy and dark in our room. Light bulb gone in shower stall. Cooked breakfast very poor quality cooking - tough bacon (? microwaved), bread dry and hard and unsuitable for toasting and only offered one egg - a stingy offering for £150/night. Service at breakfast poor - they were not busy but we had to go and find someone to serve us. We stayed in the George in Rye (same star rating) the following night - what a contrast in terms of excellent food comfort and service!

This is a lovely hotel run by friendly, kind and helpful people. We have stayed several times and never been disappointed. The food is excellent, including the freshly cooked breakfast and everything is spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic.

Lovely location, relaxed atmosphere, rural/rustic, hassle free, quiet

Heavy duvet for the heatwave we are having, maybe a fan in the room would be good at the moment
