Very warm welcome on arrival and I was upgraded free of charge from a single room to a double which was great. The room was spotlssly clean and the bed really comfortable. Would have liked a kettle and coffee facilities but that did not spoiul my stay in any way.

The staff were brilliant, made me feel relaxed, and safe.Staff very flexible in their approach making me feel like I was staying in a friends house, nothing too much trouble. They went out of their way to find out details of the building. My room was warm, comfortable with very good facilities, clean and fresh.Food was great, lovely restuarnt, with a suprising bar menu.Good value for money.I had a lovely mid week stay and would stay again. This is only a comment, the front of the hotel could do with a freshen up, and more flowers. It doesnt do justice to the lovely interior

The staff were very attentive and helpful. Food was fine - not a great choice on menu for evening meal but well cooked and hot. I had an upgrade to a double room which meant that I had more than enough room and it was on the ground floor.

We stayed here based on the locality to the civic hall. The staff were pleasant and very helpful in helping us navigate around the city. The rooms were nicely decorated with plenty of tea/coffee/towels/spare blankets provided. We didn't stay for breakfast but based on the quality of the hotel I imagine it would have been lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Hotel was located on main road near city centre and close to main events facilities as well as shopping centres etc. Hotel was full when we arrived and we had a temporary room for one night which was very basic. However, the following day we were moved to another room which was very good, well decorated and comfortable. We would use this hotel again.

Hotel staff is excellent, very nice people, big parking space - free parking, close to city centre, good price per double room, breakfast was hot & good, good coffee, nice atmosphere - I really liked the place where we had breakfast but could be warmer over there, music would be nice with breakfast as well Hotel needs some renovation, windows are old-dated one glazed with wooden frame like in early 80' and room was very cold + you can hear all noises from the street, room was clean but definitely needs refreshing, the same with bathroom - very cold as windows were not properly sealed - my advice - spend some money for new windows and painting - renovation of hotel and you will have guests through all year - small changes might make you a big profit in future

The staff were extremely nice, chatty and friendly, but we were the only guests. We got up graded free of charge to the four poster bed room which was a really nice touch by the manager. It was a lovely old building, which needs up dating in terms of decor. The staff couldn't do enough and are very friendly.

The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming. In general the hotel was a bit shabby and needed a lick if paint and a bit of love. The quality of ingredients was OK but not the greatest from the food to the drinks.

The staff were friendly and very accomadating; it was easy to get back in after my reception party as there was someone that greeted us at the door just before 12pm which was excellent as this made it easy to get in instead of trying to punch the number code in on door; it definatly saved us messing around with that. Great personal touch!. The room was comfortable, warm, spacious also liked the complementary tea/coffee tray always a great bonus when you stay anywhere and nice flat screen tv so I could enjoy watching some in the morning. Shower was a great temprature. Bed cover is good for summer time as nice and cool but would suggest a thicker one for winter time as it would propably be too cold for winter months. Pillows were ok but would benefit from another white pillow instead of one. Overall a good stay; if asked if would stay again I would. I don't think there was anything I didn't really like; I thought it was a good nights stay.

The room was airy and spacious and as it was at the back of the hotel it was nice and quiet. Room was simple with no too much clutter. The full breakfast was substational and filling. I would recommend staying here again. The water was not very hot to have a shower. Complimentary tray needed more milk cartons and provided only 1 small packet of biscuits.

Very welcoming and friendly. Convenient location. Apart from the room did not use any facilities, decent enough hotel for the price. Could do with re-docoration in places, need to get a keycode if you want to get in after midnight, paid on arrival, which was a little unusual.
