Ely House Hotel  

Very warm welcome on arrival and I was upgraded free of charge from a single room to a double which was great.The room was spotlssly clean and the bed really comfortable.

Would have liked a kettle and coffee facilities but that did not spoiul my stay in any way.

The room was interesting and the bed was comfortable. It was very convenient for our purposes.

Given we had a very large room, there should have been a second chair to sit on. During our stay, the water was only ever tepid, never hot enough for a bath or shower. We felt that the dinner, whilst enjoyable, was expensive for what was on offer.

The helpful staff, the room was warm and clean, the breakfast was good, there was an overall nice atmosphere. I will stay there again when I visit Wolverhampton.

We stayed here based on the locality to the civic hall. The staff were pleasant and very helpful in helping us navigate around the city. The rooms were nicely decorated with plenty of tea/coffee/towels/spare blankets provided. We didn't stay for breakfast but based on the quality of the hotel I imagine it would have been lovely. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff is excellent, very nice people, big parking space - free parking, close to city centre, good price per double room, breakfast was hot & good, good coffee, nice atmosphere - I really liked the place where we had breakfast but could be warmer over there, music would be nice with breakfast as well

Hotel needs some renovation, windows are old-dated one glazed with wooden frame like in early 80' and room was very cold + you can hear all noises from the street, room was clean but definitely needs refreshing, the same with bathroom - very cold as windows were not properly sealed - my advice - spend some money for new windows and painting - renovation of hotel and you will have guests through all year - small changes might make you a big profit in future

It was close to the civic hall

I was not impressed by a few things.for £60 pound night it was very poor and extremely overpriced. Things I was not impressed with: 1.very old fashioned!!!!!! 2.poor decor 3.things in room in need of repair eg the bath, curtains,

The staff were wonderful to deal with. The room was extremly well presented and very clean. . Breakfast was also lovely

You could hear a little noise from neighbouring rooms and entrance doors.

The personal touch rather than the impersonal feeling found in big hotel chains.

The staff were very welcoming and their was a brilliant friendly atmosphere, they done there best to make sure you were comfortable. Would definitely use the hotel again

It was convenient for the area I was visiting, it provided a comfortable overnight stay without any frills. Th e area was serviced by local facilities for a meal and drink.

The hotel was quiet without any encouragement to utilise their services although the hotel appeared to be very quiet without to many people staying there.

Very welcoming and friendly. Convenient location. Apart from the room did not use any facilities, decent enough hotel for the price.

Could do with re-docoration in places, need to get a keycode if you want to get in after midnight, paid on arrival, which was a little unusual.

Sehr freundliches Personal,- trotz großer Verspätung in der Nacht, wurde auf uns gewartet und uns sehr nett empfangen. Sehr gute Tips bezüglich Sehenswürdigkeiten und Anlaufpunkten in der Umgebung (Auch für die plötzliche Erkältung gab es einen guten Rat ;-)) Die Einrichtung / Ausstattung des Zimmers war sehr liebevoll und hatte wohlfühlcharakter. Ausdrücklich muss man das unkomplizierte und liebenswerte Personal loben mit dem wir wirklich Spaß hatten.
