Staff were very helpful and polite
No tea or coffee facilities in the room
Nice clean, modern, spacious and comfortable room.Lovely old character building, staff very friendly, would definate stay again!
Very friendly staff, comfortable room, good breakfast - cant ask for anything more really.
gigantic comfy bed, large deep bath, very polite & friendly staff, great location to city centre
Clean, quiet, room. Spacious by UK standards. Plenty of on-site parking. A short walk into town.
I was very surprised to be served instant coffee served at breakfast. The breakfast menu did not allow for a cereal plus cooked breakfast combination without paying for both "Continental" and "Full English". Television too small to be seen from bed.
room was clean and large bathroom good bar service excellent car park good
facing the road very loud traffic not much sleep no baked beans on the breakfast was just enough
Comfort was good and breakfast was lovely
No call button at reception girl couldnt be in two places at the same time. No draft beer
Spotlessly clean throughout, really nice room and tiled bathroom (Room 10). Very helpful polite staff. Food was good for the most part.
Extremely hot room requested a fan was told to see if it cooled down later. Had to pay for WiFi it said was free in literature. One morning breakfast was cold for one person hot for other. Service at breakfast bit over attentive was asked 4 times one morning if we were ok (once was more than enough).
Staff genuinely very friendly and helpful.
It was nice and quiet yet near the centre. Very nice laid out room. Good breakfast.
The time it took to get breakfast.
I booked the hotel as we were attending a gig at the civic hall, the hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the venue and there are some nice friendly pubs along the way. Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a very friendly man who helped us with all our enquiries and any extra bits we needed in our rooms including extra pillows. I couldn't fault the hotel at all, the rooms were tastefully decorated with comfy beds, a nice power shower and our room which was upstairs even had some oak beams which were a nice feature. The hotel was spotless and I would give our room 10/10 for cleanliness. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if we ever go back to Wolverhampton :-)
Good location for wolves centre, we went to a gig at the Wulfren Hall which was a 10-15 minute walk. The room was clean, the bed comfy and we had a quite night. Followed by a good breakfast in the morning.
free wi fi ...non existent or at least practically useless, room smelt foisty, uncomfortable bed, photos onsite are very complimentary
The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room we stayed in was lovely (rm 16) and very clean. I had a problem with my phone and the manager lent me hers so I could access my emails! I also had a faulty padlock which the hotel sorted out for me.
From my one night stay at this hotel there was nothing to dislike. Wonderful room great friendly staff!
The room was very clean, modern and comfortable the staff very helpful, the location very good and the breakfast was served quickly, piping hot and good quality. We would definetly recommend this hotel. Excellent value for money.
Close to town centre. It was an historical house converted to a private hotel. Very quiet and extremely hospitable staff.
I enjoyed the comedy of the place. The labrynth of corridors and stairs. The entertaining staff. I also really enjoyed leaving.
Being lied to about a "refurbishment" in the kitchen that prevented me getting a sandwich. I actually inadvertently walked into the kitchen and found it in a state of not being refurbished. Wrestling a plate from the iron grip of the hotelier was my Basil Fawlty moment. The genuine health and safety risk of a corridor being completely pitch black because a they claim a resident turned off the hall lights! The location is not a hugely desirable one. Sorry.
The hotel was close to the Tennis club where we were going to a 60th party on the Saturday night and it wasn't far from the town centre.
On the second morning we were only given cups of tea/coffee yet the day before we were given a pot each and because there were more people on the second morning the staff were very busy so we only got one cup.
Clean room. Fairly quiet at night.
Long walk up and down stairs to get to a room which is just outside if you go through car park. Stain /burn on carpet. Confusion over whether breakfast included or not. First yes and then a phone call to the room advised no and when I complained in the morning it became yes again. Asked for 1 poached egg and got 2 - picky I know but wasteful.
Location and how welcome we were made to feel
Just had a lovely overnight stay here. We arrived to be told we had been upgraded to the four poster room which was absolutely gorgeous...comfortable bed, spotlessly clean...lovely clean bathroom... It all looked newly refurbished and included a TV and hairdryer! Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was included and we had a full english which was hot and tasty..Would definately return! Ten minutes walk into town/civic hall which we were visiting and no problem about late returns we just got a pin number to open the door!
perhaps an extra coffee or two in the room wouldnt go amiss
Friendly staff convenient location good food - Building has an interesting history
continental quilt not as comfy as my home comforts WiFi has to be paid as an extra narrow car park a bit tricky Breakfast you only have a choice of continental or English. so if you like a yogurt or cereal with your fry up the extra cost is not worth it.
