While some of the staff were friendly, one was really unhelpful when I asked about a change of room (which had been agreed earlier in the day with another member of staff). The beds are small for two people, as are some of the rooms.
Dirty bed, soft bed with large dip in the middle. Think walls could hear everything in room next door. Damp and smokey smell throughout hotel. Looks nothing like the pictures
Good location close to trainstation. Friendly staff.
I knew London was expensive and not known for good housing, but for thr amount I payed I dindn't think I'd be sleeping in a closet. It was the smallest room I 've ever seen -shower felt like a coffin. Good I only spent 1 night.
Location Staff very helpfull Price
The double room was a little bit small. Alone is OK but with a second personne it won't be enaugh.
Location brilliant. 5 minutes from underground station. Rooms very clean. Staff lovely and friendly. Pub across the road does fab food too so you have everything you need.
Walls are very thin and rooms very small but seeing as we literally only slept there it was more than adequate. Breakfast was ok but ingredients obviously very cheap (It is a budget hotel though)bacon was more fat than meat etc.
The bathroom is a little small
Location is ok.
The room was so small that i couldnt open my suitcase in other place than over The bed
Nice stay for 5 nights. We were 4 girls and even though the room was REALLY small, it was ok.
the wifi wasn't exactly free.......
the hotel is very clean, the location is very close to 2 underground stations and close to a lot to of money change places.
The rooms are very small you can barely open a suitcase in it. the breakfast contains: cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms, cheese, fruit salad and yogurt. when we asked the guy in the reception how we can get to the airport by train he didn't answer us and immediately tried to book us a taxi from his friends' company.
Room small but functional. Shower hot and powerful. Hotel directly opposite a Young's pub, with a nice Italian restaurant a couple of doors from there. Overall fine for a budget hotel.
Breakfast area in basement was stark and unpleasant, but the breakfast itself perfectly acceptable.
This hotel is amazing value for money. The rooms are very small and plain but we would stay there again. Fabulous location, very close to Lancaster Gate tube and reasonably close to Paddington station. We did miles of walking in London because its so flat. Staff were friendly and helpful. English breakfast not overly fancy but again excellent value.Plenty of places to eat and buy essentials close by.Use citymapper app to plan your trips, tube, bus or walk. We bought UK sim card for £10, 100 min calls, free text and 500mb data.
Even though it was the middle of winter, we felt the hotel(and everywhere else in London) was overheated. We never used any heating at the hotel.
The location is very good, very close to Hyde park, close to Lancaster gate and a few minutes away from paddington station. Always found our room cleaned with new towels every day,the housekeeping are very polite nice and ready to help you. Breakfast is very good too.
Room a bit small.
Close to Hyde Park area.
Requested an upstairs room but was given a room in the basement. Walls were very thin. Also, lots of noise from above in the morning.
Perfect for a short stay in London. The room was all the basics you would need for a short stay in London. It was a 5 minute walk from the outskirts of Hyde park and a 15 minute walk from Oxford street. Great location in terms of getting to other major attractions. Room was also very clean! The man at the desk was very helpful printing out plane tickets and and booking our taxi for an early morning departure.
- very small room - would be good if included a complimentary continental breakfast
The location is superb and staff are friendly.
The room was so small that I hardly fit into the bathroom and I could hear the street noise all the night.
Location Cleanliness Ambience Staff
Close to Paddington but in a quiet street. Lovely staff! Third time here
Staff was very nice and accommodating. I liked having someone at the desk 24/7. Room was small but clean for the most part. Beds were comfy. Bathroom was updated. Room was serviced nicely each day.
Carpet looked dirty and stained. Decorative pillows on bed also stained. Wifi was provided on a limited basis, only 1 device per person. It was only good for 3 days so we had to get a new passcode after 3 days. Wifi was slow. TV reception was poor.
Great breakfast, very friendly, helpful staff, very safe, homely.
WIFI connection Friendliness of staff Small rooms; bathroom was OK How the pictures do not respond to the reality at all
Very clean and tidy. Didn't try the breakfast so no opinion on that. Nice and helpful staff.
Very small double rooms. Could barely open two suitcases at the same time, rooms 11 and 12A.
The location was great.
The Wifi was very patchy at the best of times. The front desk staffs attitude was shocking.
