The Location was just fantastic, so near the tube station approx 4 mins walk from Lancaster Gate Tube station, which is on the Central line, 2 stops from Oxford Street and 3 stops in the other direction from Westfield Shopping Centre. we were on a shopping trip so we could easily pop back to the hotel and drop off the bags and head straight back out shopping, The staff were very friendly and helpful, the Bathroom was spotless and the shower had plenty of hot water, The room was reasonably sized and very clean, it was quiet and the breakfast was perfect. I would totally reccomend this hotel, the towels were a bit scratchy, but thats only a minor thing, Also the rooms were very hot but easily solved by turning off the radiators.. The price was a bit steep i think they could reduce it even by about £10 or £20 per night

The location was great - Oxford street is 10 mins walk, just near Hyde park and Kensington gardens The single room is really small, 4 sq.M. Literally. And it's better to have your reservation with you to confirm the price

The hotel for me was within walking distance of the city centre. I booked the hotel for the location and and the price. When you book a hotel at that price and in that location, there is always a question about the hotel. However, while the room was small, it was clean and the shower excellent. Given the fact that I was not in the room for any length of time, only the cleanliness was important, so I was pleased with what I found. The breakfast was basic, however in keeping with what was advertised and had what I would normally have in a morning. The staff were attentive and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again. As I said, not much time spent in the hotel. My needs were met, nothing to say really in this section

The location is its gratest advantage, zone 1, only 3-5mins walking from the Central line, nice neighbourhood. The hotel in general is good (cleaness, service, ...). I have been in other hotels in London and this is the best I have found considering the value for money (price/location/...) If I go again to London and I want a cheap and nice hotel, I would choose this one. Internet is too expensive, it should not cost anything or 2£ o 3£ per night at the most. Rooms and beds are small.

The hotel is very close to paddington station so you need not to take any other means of transportation if you are travelling to/from heathrow with the express train. Plus it is very close to queensway, bayswater and just a couple of stops from the shopping centre of london. the breakfast was above average for an english hotel there was a daily service with change of towels etc. My room was a a single one and was really small (as mentioned) but if you just go for a sleep it is ok the only problem was the noise. the room was very close to the extractors from the hotel

Location was really good, in front of Hyde Park, next to Lancaster Gate and bus stop to Victoria. The hotel is old and neglected. The window in our room didn't close for instance. The rooms looked poor, the quilts , the curtains..The room smelled and the walls were really thin. You could hear your neighbour breathing. And on the top of it I felt it was rather cold at night. But as I said it is good value for money. If you are looking for comfort don't go to Elysee Hotel.

Location was excellent. Walking distance (4 or 5 blocks) from Paddington & the Heathrow Express, which was walkable even with luggage. Also, 2 blocks from the Underground. --- It had both heat & air (and we needed each on different days). --- Modern & clean room with some nice extra details like a heated tile bathroom floor. --- Breakfast was OK, but more than we expected. It was continental only, but it was more than just juice and toast. It also had eggs, b-beans, yoghurt, etc. A little pricy and small, but I understand that is the norm in London.

Central location. Easy to get to. Close to Paddington main line station. Close to Lancaster Gate Central Line Underground station. Room size was incredibly small for two people for the price. After we got there, we found better values at other hotels in the same street. Sheets were washed but badly stained.

Reasonably priced and convenient for tube (Lancaster Gate). Room was comfortable and clean. The Mitre Pub across the road does food. A bit of a journey to and from the West End. OK if you're out for the day and night, but inconvenient if you want to change for the evening. Hotel had a bar but never saw anyone mannning it.
