location kitchen parking price
only one sink between everybody, had to wash hands/teeth/face in kitchen when the toilet with the only sink was occupied. We didn't know there was a kitchen until we arrived.
Poor sound proofing, tiny lining, no breakfast, bathroom and toilet in the corridor and half working
Friendly Staff (Especially Tom who does pretty much everything over here) Airy Rooms, Free Wi-Fi
I'm picking feathers on this - maybe invest in some key rings for the room keys as they can be easy to lose
Low price Bedroom was ok.
Shared Shower room was small and didn't feel very clean. The upstairs shower was out of order for a few days. Wasn't allowed non-sleeping in visitors Receptionist seemed a little abrupt and telephone manner wasn't the best.
value for money friendly staff
being next door to bathroom.
Shower was good but tiny.
It said on website all newly decorated, maybe in the 80s it was newly decorated. I could feel every sping in bed, it was very uncomfortable, worst nights sleep I've ever had.
The room is spacious and comfortable.
The toilet is on shared basis.
The room was spacious and bed comfortable.
Upstairs toilet facilities weren't appealing, bed was squeaky, and the location wasn't very close to any shops or restaurants.
Not far from town centre. Has it's own parking. 24 hour access. Everything I needed. Would recommend for a budget stay.
Room was a bit dated and a bit sparse, but it was fine for the price.
Not too far from the city center. Flat screen TV.
Not good for female travellers. I only saw guys in there. Looked like construction workers which is allright but nor for a single female,I reckon. Very noisy (street and banging of doors etc.)
We were a party of 8 in 4 rooms.our ages ranged from 27 to 60.....Made use of the Kitchen and microwave (not very powerful) had everyone in one room for drinks and food, no one complained but we did keep the noise to a minimum and all in bed by 11pm thank you for a safe and dry place to sleep.
Shortage of items in Kitchen. Traffic noise as on main road
lotsof stairs im disabled ,couldnt use upper shower has broken , should have been a sign in loo as tripped up step , kitchen didnt have many items , microwave didnt cook properly , vey noisy traffic at night , too , cobwebs in bedroom landlord was ok but a bit surly
My room was large, with 2 beds despite it being advertised as a single room. The staff were nice, the room clean. Although next to the road, traffic noise wasn't really a problem with the window closed.
The upstairs shower was out of order, so there was only one shower downstairs for everyone to use. The guesthouse was a little far from anywhere, although quite an easy 15 min walk from the train station. I'm pretty sure my pillow was a rock in disguise. The room was very cold, even though it was the middle of summer. Soundproofing wasn't brilliant, so I was woken up at 5 by someone else's alarm, but this wasnt the fault of the guesthouse. It was a fine and good value stay for one night, but I'm not sure I would have wanted to stay for too long.
It's basically a lodging house with all nations there, who were friendly by the way, we paid 39 pound for a triple room so in that respect can't fault price, but not a b&b shouldn't be on booking.com It's in a terrible area run down thankfully we were 3 lads on a stopover to elsewhere would hate to have females I know staying around there Shower on our floor not working in August as I know it hasn't worked for a while according to previous posts, filthy toilets and showers beds one was a camp bed no headboard room didn't look like been cleaned for a while Would not recommend even though cheap
Cheap Walking distance to city centre
Kitchen could have been better equipped
The room was cold, the shared facilities were poor, it was noisy, in an awful area! I would much rather have paid the extra and stayed in an actual hotel!
Good Value for Money. Close to Derby station and friendly reception.
Detached Bathroom / Toilet
kitchen with fire or induction table, oven
price convienience for city centre
no smoking but thats the fault of our masters
Owner/manager did an excellent job of making me comfortable and welcome, he keeps the whole place clean, especially the kitchen. Wi fi worked in my room
lack of places near by where I could get food, but transportation to city center was convient
Close to the station and close enough to the city centre. Good for singles and couples looking for budget rooms, especially good value for a single room. Kitchen facilities would be useful if you stayed a few days.
One of the showers was out of action. Note that room facilities are as you'd expect for the price (i.e. no sink)
The room was comfortable, I liked the fact that it had a kitchenette. I only saw one staff member, he was friendly. Parking was OK.
One of the showers was out of order, this meant I had to wait a long time outside the other shower. It could do with another bathroom.
nothing.I work away from home so I like a little comfort. The bed was two small and the room was to small. The TV did not work. The showers were not kept clean and no I would not go back there.
The whole place.
Cheap and basic if all you want is a bed so good value
Stayed 7 nights no one cleaned the room or made the bed .upstairs shower not working
