Holiday Inn Express East Midlands Airport  

Excellent location for our flight from ema the following morning. Beautifully warm, comfortable and clean. Polite and helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast the following morning, which was absolutely ideal before our early morning flight to Majorca. We would definitely use the hotel again.

Resturant food price was extortionate, and quality of food was poor. Example, ask for mediunm rear steak and get something well done.

It is situated conveniently close to East Midlands Airport. We landed, picked up our cases, booked in for a hire car and still checked in at the hotel in less than an hour. The staff were very courteous, and we were still able to get an alcoholic drink even though it was 2325 hrs. Breakfast was of the buffet type. It was well set out and presented, and gave a good selection of food. We were very pleased with the whole experience of staying at this hotel and will undoubtedly use it again.

Clean comfortable room and price included breakfast which included a choice of hot and cold food all well presented and satisfying.

Objected to having to pay to park the car for the night, surely it should have been included in the price of the room. It was an extra add on that we did not expect and felt it had not been explained prior to arrival.

Near airport

Reception and bar area tables dirty from spilt drinks, menu and food choice category burger and chips style rate as cheap and not so cheerful

It is very convenient for flights from the airport and taxis can be ordered from reception which makes the transfer easy but does increase the price of the journey. Booking and paying on line makes the whole process much easier. I do this journey two to three times a year, and being able to book train, taxi to the hotel from Parkway station and hotel before I leave home reduces the stress of travelling. We changed to yourselves from the nearer Thistle, as the Thistle was not always clean, but they did provide a free transfer service to and from the airport.

.there is no reduction for single occupancy, which makes it rather expensive for an overnight say for one person, especially as breakfast is included and the early leavers such as myself 4.30 departure find it too early to want to eat. I would rather have a slight reduction and pay for breakfast if I want it

The holiday inn was clean, comfortable breakfast verygood quiet no noise at night was in easy reach of our destination sunday morning will probably stay later in the year if we get a good deal from linda

The room was pretty neat and the breakfast experience was excellent.

The internet service cost an extra 10 pounds a day and it was shockingly bad/slow

Very friendly staff. Simple but clean rooms.

Transport is limited either by taxi or overpriced Citylink bus. Although it is walking distance (15 min) from the airport and a easy route, there is no info about it.
