Holiday Inn Express East Midlands Airport  

Excellent location for our flight from ema the following morning. Beautifully warm, comfortable and clean. Polite and helpful staff. Excellent continental breakfast the following morning, which was absolutely ideal before our early morning flight to Majorca. We would definitely use the hotel again.

The chicken burger was tough and I did not enjoy it at all. It was obviously a frozen meal. The scrambled eggs were old and had a 'film' over them. Everything apart from the food was good.

Nothing .... never going to be again

It was ok thats it staff were stright but blunt and not very welcoming it was dear and not worth its cost for a single night the breakfast was cold and or over cooked / burnt

We found the hotel clean and comfortable and close to East Midland Airport Terminal which was within reach by shuttle bus which ran on time and the fare was cheap and the drivers were very helpful

We stayed here because of the close proximity to the airport, we had a 5am checkin time. Breakfast was included in the price, and was available from 4am. We are used to breakfast not being available until 7am, or later, so we were thrilled that they recognised the requirements of early morning travellers. There was a mix up with our airport transfer, and another couple took our ride (a shared cab and therefore much cheaper), when the taxi company turned up to take us they wanted to charge the full rate, but we refused to pay that, being their error. The hotel stepped in an paid the difference so we would not be delayed further. Thank you for that, but they need to sort the system out, as we originally understood we were using a hotel transfer service, not a cab company.

We were told that if you ordered your evening meal before 6pm there was a 20% discount, however this is not automatic, and if you have not read your welcome letter you don't know. We think that if they are going to make this offer, then it should not have to be asked for.

My husband and I stayed at Holiday Inn Express hotel for one night en route to Jersey - it made our journey from Lincolnshire much easier. It was excellent value for money, spotlessly clean and we would recommend it to anyone. Had no complaints whatsoever. Thought it was brilliant!!!

If anything, the bed was a little firm for our liking but not so bad that we wouldn't stay there again.
