handy for shops and underground
could have been cleaner and staff more attentive.
On the edge of Byres Road with excellent bars, cafes and restarants....walking distance to botanical gardens, the Hunterian and the Mackintosh house....
I was given the exact room i requested for and like to thank the hotel stuff for taking the quests request seriously.
I came in my room and there was no hot water. I asked the staff to sort it out and she was helpful including the manager. The downside was, it took more than 5 hrs to actually get the hot water. So i had to use the electrical kettle more than 5 times to get hot water and wash myself..lol...My room was a bit cold. There were 3 portable heaters in my room. To be fair, it didnt heat up the whole room cause of its massive size and high ceiling. I think the room would be ok for summer but not winter when u definitely need warmth. I ended up have to drag my duvet with me in the middle of the night to take a pee.
Good location and facilities, room spacious, pleasantly decorated and well equipped.
Room could have been cleaner. It was poorly lit for a self catering room but ok if it had been a bedroom only. No hot water until we found the switch for the shower in the kitchen.
the standard of cleanliness and facilities was first class
Me and my two friends stayed for a weekend and we loved it, brilliant view out of the window, excellent kitchen facilities, lovely bathroom very clean, the only thing I'd be negative about was the shower head was broken and water pressure out of the shower wasn't very strong, other than that is highly recommend this accommodation to anyone, fabulous!!
Great welcome by friendly staff. Room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. Very comfortable clean bed, had a fantastic nights sleep. Will be definitely making use of this hotel again in the near future.
Nothing bad to say whatsoever.
No hot water for showers in two days
Tv was in an awkward position to watch
Location, building, quietness
No wi-fi in room (so please check before you book room 3 or 4 I think - so if you need for business etc no good), room did not match picture so disappointed as I anticipated a living area/space which is why I booked this place. Some of the cutlery was dirty as was the grill pan (still have grease from last use)
Great location Lots of space Friendly and helpful staff
Room décor was a bit dated
Large room, nice bay window view. Good value. Optional breakfast was good quality.
Room was a bit cold overnight, electric radiators underpowered.
Stains on sheets, hot water too hot for young children.
The room was clean and a good breakfast was served by a friendly waitress. Hotel is in a good location close to Byers Road and the subway station.
Decor slightly tired No wifi in the apartment Odd position of TV - not viewable from the bed Receptionist was a bit surly
Excellent welcome. Very well equipped apartment in a quiet area. Nearby is the lively university area. Easy access into the city from Hillhead metro.
Excellent location. Clean accommodation
small and compact room Television placed above the headboard of the bed so awkward to view.
My first stay in the apartments, I normally stay in the hotel, will definitely stay again, very comfortable and the facilities met all my requirements.
Very spacious. Welcoming staff. Clean accommodation. Parking facilities
COLD showers! After reporting that we had no hot water it was two days before the problem was fixed.
The apartment is big, clean and has everything you need.
As a bedroom, it is too big and ceiling is too high, thus didn't feel comfortable. But as a living room, it is OK.
Conviniently located to the U. of Glasgow. Alexandra at the reception was very friendly and helpful with some problems in the room. Will definitely stay again on our next visit.
The apartment was fantastic , it has everything that an apartment should have , it was the best 5☆ all the way , it was brilliant.
Situated in a quiet Cul de Sac off Queen Margaret Drive so no traffic noise. Nide well appointed room with good kitchen. Lots of drawer space for clothes which is lacking in so many other hotels. Nice little patio at the back. Ideal for lunch. Good breakfast in their hotel next door. Ideal for the pubs and restaurants of Byers Road and easy for bus and subway. Also free parking. What more could you want?
Occupants of room above walking up and down noisily most of the night. I think they were consoling a small child. This presumably couldn't be avoided.
