The staff were friendly and courteous, the room was clean and warm and the overall experience was great!
The wifi was so fast! And the bed was amazing!
Nothing at all
proximity to west end like the more old-fashioned feel and comfort of the room
Nice and quiet
Lovely spacious and comfortable room, hassle free entry and exit. Beautiful part of Glasgow, you'd struggle to find a nicer part of town.
More of a warning than a didn't like. The place is a self catering apartment and there is no much in the way of basic supplies provided at the outset, particularly in the kitchen, so bring tea coffee, milk etc
Altogether a great stay!
It's location and the convenience of walking distance to places in the West End, particularly when there was snow, did not need to use the car. We used the Subway.
Storage heaters and the shower was dated.
Location ,plenty bars and eateries nearby pleasant friendly staff and good breakfast . Good parking and quiet street .
Oil filled radiators we were nice and warm once they been on all day . But must be costly.
Location, friendly staff, clean and quiet.
Shower could have been more powerful.
The location and the room it's self. It would be a good place to stay for a longer visit to tour the city with subway being close by.
Shower needs replaced
the appartment was simply wonderful in an ideal location.
Having the facilities of the apartment were great. Very quiet nights sleep, both nights
Hot water tap in bathroom sink needs looking at. Location is a bit far out from city centre. But good public transport.
A good location for our needs, the wedding was in the Memorial Chapel of Glasgow University and Reception in Oran Mor, so very close to both venues and able to leave car at Embassy Apartments and walk.
We had 2 apartments, one for my Husband and I, the the second for my Son and Daughter, ages 30 and 32.I asked for twin beds, both rooms had double beds, we did not mind but my Son and Daughter would have obviously preferred a twin, espeacially as the mattress had a dip in the middle, they are close but not that close! I did ask for a room change, but they were full.So although I booked well in advance We did not receive our request, the blame was put on Booking.com for not letting them know.
Near to Byres Rd. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
Wifi wouldn't connect when I closed the door in Room 3
I'm a Glaswegian and lived there for over 20yrs but when I come back with my partner I prefer to stay in a hotel rather than with family. I choose the Embassy as for as long as I can remember it's be impeccably clean from the outside and now having stayed twice I can say the same for the inside. I love the big rooms, having a sitting area and a kitchen. It's close to all transport links and the vibrant heart of the West End. It's clean to a standard you'd be hard pushed to find in some 5* alternatives.
Slightly slow on the check in and check out process. Maybe a little long winded help being offered rather than resolutions to customer questions.
Perfect for my needs
ideal location , nice and quiet and a very good standard
Locality good for purpose of visit good to have parking near at hand
Apartment a bit dated and in need of refurbishement
The Embassy Apartments had everything for a comfortable stay very roomy would definitely stay there again.
Would have prefered some extra lighting as the apartments are very big
The spacious room and the comfy beds led to a good night rest
We had to walk up the stairs as there isn't any lift. Ovens were not cleaned and had moulds
Loved the huge room and view...very clean and comfy!
Shower had very low pressure
A good location in the hip West End of Glasgow in a beautiful Victorian terrace house looking down on the river Kelvin. Quiet with easy parking. Nice rooms and very helpful staff. It was Christmas and although the Hotel was closed the remaining staff did their best to make us feel at home.
The location and free parking was what we were looking for and the price was fab. Will definitively stay again
The TV was not working but the receptionist got it to at least decent working order for most channels. However, we didn't really come to Glasgow to watch television :)
handy for shops and underground
could have been cleaner and staff more attentive.
On the edge of Byres Road with excellent bars, cafes and restarants....walking distance to botanical gardens, the Hunterian and the Mackintosh house....
