Accommodation in separate building to adjacent pub, so very quiet. Good facilities in the room. Nice and clean. Decor good. Food in the pub excellent. owner very pleasant and helpful
We spent just one night at The Emmbrok Inn, fair accomodation for the price. Childrens slept at my cousin's so we where on our two, my wife and me. Easy to find, clean, everything was working in the room (hair dryer, hot water...)
We were alone in the building on the morning. No one to grab the keys when we left, we don't find any box where the drop the keys. Had to let the door unlocked. A bit upset about that in the beginning.
Modern bedrooms in separate building to pub
Could not get WiFi to work even though told router was rebooted. Booking.com & information folder in room says breakfast in Lounge Bar but told when checked in now only continental in room. This was not suitable as no table & chairs to sit at. Although milk was in a flask the orange juice (bottle said keep in fridge)& fruit cocktail were warm. Would have been OK if kept in a fridge in room or served in morning, but it was put in our room the night before!
i worked as a photographer at reading festival and needed to check in late nothing was to much trouble and the owners were very helpful with sorting all of this out for me the continental breakfast was plentiful and the room was very clean and tidy overall the emmbrook inn is a pleasent place to say and i would recommend the emmbrook inn to anybody
The things I liked about the Embrook inn. Good size room & bathroom, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast & staff.
The room was nice and tidy, quiet location, comfortable bed, nice breakfast.
Cleanliness in the bathroom, there was no staff in the morning at the checkout, so we left the key in the room on the floor.
Staff were friendly and room was comfortable and clean. Great shower. They were kind enough to grant us a late checkout at no extra charge
Room was advertised as including breakfast but didn't stipulate that the breakfast was continental only. Breakfast was delivered the night before and included items such as orange juice, yoghurt and milk for coffee and cereal but there were no refrigeration facilities in the room . The breakfast was warm and unappetising by the following morning.
owners were very friendly and helpfull. food was amazing and excellent value. environment and atmosphere was lovely
wobbly knob on my door.
Great free wifi and friendly helpful staff
Rooms very comfy large bathroom and comfy bed and pillows
Food was not great, typical limited pub menu
Clean room and nice size. Good size tv.
Room and on suite nice and clean Lovely breakfast and good value
Mattress to soft for my husband, he's had a bad back since the first night.
Location, friendly staff, good food
Accessible ground floor room, with comfortable bed and exceptionally good lighting.
Bathroom lighting dingy, and no light over bathroom mirror. Some water pipe hammer from my room and adjacent rooms.
Good location about 1 mile from Wokingham train station. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Rooms a good size. Free Wi-Fi.
Rooms can get warm in Summer and there's no air con.
Good value B&B with decent size rooms with good en-suite. Easy parking. Helpful staff. Lots of easy to access power points in the room.
Shower was great but the shower head a bit wobbly. Also room was not but window wouldn't stay open. These are minor points. Overall good value for money for the area.
Good location not far from the m4. Staff very friendly and efficient. Tasty 'pub grub'
Good location for our venue. Friendly staff. Clean, well priced room. Very good breakfast. Quiet and got a good 2 nights sleep.
Only thing to mention was the shower. Not brilliant and dried up whilst I was in it. Probably somebody else using water and supply is inadequate.
The area was nice and secluded.
The Internet was not available at the time, I tried the passcodes that were documented in the manual, but was unable to get connected.
location convenient for work
noisy plumbing grubby room
Friendly staff in a friendly pub
breakfast should have been included in a place that advertises as a bed and breakfast
No valance sheets on bed thought that seeing the bed base was a bit naff
