Although booking.com failed to register my reservation with the Inn luckily for me they had one room left ! That said the Room was neat, tidy and warm and comfortable, lovely bed and clean bathroom with great power shower ! The room was in a purpose built annexe to the Pub which great to have a few pints in with friendly staff and customers, Sky Sports and about 10 mins from Wokingham Village. Although I didnt have a Dinner there, for the diners who did the food looked and smelt great. I didnt book for breakfast but in the morning, feally peckish, I asked if if it would be possible and i was no problem at all to the Staff and the breakfast was perfect and freshly cooked.I would definitely stay there again. The extractor fan in the Bathroom was a little bit noisy

The friendliness and willingness of the staff and owner. They gave us extra pillows and showed great consideration by offering us a ground floor room, without being asked.

Very nice staff. And very friendly locals at the pub in the evenings. If you would like something else than they offer from the kitchen at the pub, a walk to the city center is not to far. I ate at the pub every night exept on sunday when the kitchen was closed.

Was not overly impressed with the welcome and information the staff gave us! The room was nice and the location was well suited to us! Apart from that not a lot to like! The staff were not friendly, and didn't give us a great deal of information or awareness. Seeing as it was a bed and breakfast, they didn't serve breakfast the weekend we stayed which we were very dissapointed about. The check out time was far too early as well! The cost of the Accomadation was high considering breakfast wasn't included and we could have stayed in a hotel where we would have been much more accommodated for a lower price.

the owners were very friendly and helpful, when we said 2 of us needed soy milk the owner must have gone early in the morning and picked it up for us. Nothing seemed a problem. The pub atmosphere was as we had imagined to be from programmes we have watched back home in Australia. .Our thanks to John and Rebecca for making our stay so memorable

Smart,Clean and wholesome. Suited us well for an Orchid Fayre at Dinton Pastures. A couple of plastic glasses in the bathroom, please. Lighting most odd. One doesn't expect all lights, except bathroom,to turn off from any switch in the room. Suppose one wants to sleep and the other read for a while. Very Odd. Also going down at 8.30a.M.looking forward to breakfast to find that the Inn was like the Marie Celeste. I suppose I was meant to book breakfast at the same time as the room. No mention was made on arrival. Not really complaints just observations that might achieve the final polish if rectified.

Comfortable and tidy room Got locked in the bathroom then got locked out of the bathroom but had no contact for emergencies and the main reception was closed. There were no fire safety instructions in the room, is that legal? No breakfast available and nowhere to hand keys in to so had to leave outside the room!

Brilliant b&b - the lodge had well equipped rooms ideally suited to an overnight stay when attending a friend's birthday party locally. £50 for a double room was brilliant value for money too.

The Friendliness of the staff and the customers in the attached pub. They went shopping in order to cater for my daughter's wheat intolerance, and also for Earl Grey tea when she expressed a preference. Could not have hoped for a more congenial stay.

The rooms were very clean and very comfortable, relatively spacious (not like your usual hotel chains). My husband and I, and my mother-in- law, needed rooms near my father's home in Winnersh - we were going to go out for a meal, and really just needed a nice room and breakfast in the morning. Not the type of hotel to go to if you want an "experience" - the hotel itself doesn't have a theme, and it's not close enough to any train stations that can take you into Reading for that "city" experience. However, I was very impressed with the room quality, and the breakfast was superb (Cereals and juice as self-serve, and a Full English Breakfast cooked perfectly - even if it did cost an extra £7 per person). For a short, overnight stay with a reasonable price, this hotel is ideal! The TV's could've been bigger, and the tv in my mother-in-law's room didn't work. The lock on our room door was bent, so it was difficult to lock and unlock. I'd picked my mother-in-law up from the airport in the morning, and I had requested an early check-in for her. However, when we got there, no one was around (fortunately, I could take her to my father's home while we waited for them to open). Not major inconveniences, but the hotel would've received 10/10 from us if it wasn't for these few oddities.

It was a friendly atmosphere the Landlord and Landlady was very friendly. As we were meeting up with family that had already booked it was convenienant also in the 1960s it was our mums local under a different name as we all lived in Emmbrook. The only thing I would say against is they only do food on certain days unless you book in advance ( I think) but the breakfast was very good.

Convenient and reasonably quiet location. Accommodation in pub annexe next door rather than in pub itself. Good shower. We had to pay extra for breakfast (not cheap) which turned out to be limited in choice and poor in quality. It was eaten in bar area - would have preferred a separate breakfast room.

Tijdens mijn verblijf sliepen hier voornamelijk zakelijke gasten. Boeken met kinderen geen probleem. Ik zou hier zeker weer boeken.
