It is a lovely little hotel with a pub attached. The rooms are nice and the staff lovely. Nothing, except the checkout time is a bit early. We do like to sleep in when we are away as we don't get the opportunity often. :-)

Luckily You don't have Your room above the pub but in a newish building on site. Heater not working, tv not working, No key for the main entrance to the newish building where You 'camp', parking very limited, no breakfast before 08.00 and thanks to a charity no dinner on Saturday night... After payment You can vanish. All in all no value for money or better, far too expensive.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, check in was easy and quick, the room was clean and pleasant. Checking out was not clear, had to ring to find out what to do with the keys as reception closed on Sunday morning.

We were visiting a sick relative in Reading Hospital so this wasn't a pleasure trip but our stay at the Emmbrook Inn was a pleasant respite from a stressful day. The room was beautifully clean and had everything we needed. The Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Thank you! Nothing

I thought the staff were terrific and made you feel welcome with a warm reception. Friendly atmosphere and a very traditional and beautifully rustic feel which I would recommend anybody wanting to tour the uk to go to and become part of a very down to earth and welcoming atmosphere. I would definately use the Emmbrook Inn again. Lovely people you can go anywhere in the world and make friends and it seemed as though I was treated like an old friend which was just a beautiful feeling. Emmbrook Inn you rock!!!!! You should be proud of such an aura you generate. There is nothing I can think of. These people were lovely absolutely.

Staff were very pleasant but when we arrived and the booking was for a twin room-they didn't have a twin room so they gave us a room each at no extra cost(they blamed book.com for the mess up by the way) which was fine with us. I don't understand the question 2 above none of the adjectives fit the question The breakfast was £7.00 so we didn't have it as I think this price is exhorbitant for any breakfast. Also they rarely answer their phone and never return calls

Warm, friendly reception, pleasant ambience in the pub, morning breakfast was freshly cooked and was served hot within minutes. Booking in and out was hassle free. We both would recommend staying here and would not hesitate in making this our first choice next time we visit this area

Positioining for what we wanted to do. Nice Pub with quiet surroundings. Check in and check out process didnt seem to exist, check out was completed via post. The Hotel didnt seem to be able to offer Breakfast as the Pub was not set up or staffed to cater for early morning. That said Wokingham is close by and has lovely facilties.

Peaceful location. Little noise from pub or road. Room seemed "worn out" I had to change room at arrival because the plumbing not functional in first room. Mattress worn and soft; shower strong but only luke warm; breakfast okay bit little choice.

Convient location. Quiet room. Good pub. Staff were friendly but not quite on the ball (through no fault of their own). I didnt get front door key and had to use the numbers on the key pad which I couldnt see properly as it was dark. TV could do with updating to flat screen and built in Freeview etc.

This is very much a Sports Bar with screens showing the latest matches etc so quite male dominated. However, the accom. was in a separate modern block so no need to be in the inn environment if not wanted. We were there for the half marathon and the host allowed my son to return and shower after a wet run - at no extra cost. Very kind and supportive. We gave our breakfast order and 2 items were not on the plates although nothing had been said while ordering that they weren't available. Margerine was already smeared on the toast when we prefer butter on the side. (None of which is the end of the world) Positives far outweigh negs.
