All round good (from someone who spends about 80 nights a year in hotels) - staff particularly friendly and easy-going; great room, good breakfast, warm atmosphere
Roadworks outside but that is only temporary!
Staff were very friendly and informative. Meal in the restaurant and breakfast were excellent
Not really any quiet space in which to work although free Wi-Fi for quick access to emails etc is a bonus
feathered pillows , warm , helpfull
Breakfast not in the price , u paid for the drinks in fridge , we go to hotels etc at least 6 times a year , and half of those are in the price . and no sky tv , which is a must
Convenient, nice continental breakfast, good location, comfortable room
The fact they don't tell you if you don't take your key out that you can't get into the hotel after 11.30 & no staff out there until 7.30am! Either sleep with a colleague, another guest or in the car.
Good setting, well decorated, food was generally ok. The staff were very pleasant.
Overall the prices were on the high side. The breakfast bacon had been cooked and kept warm and had dried out somewhat.Parking facilities almost non existent.
High quality of this quirky building renovation to create a first class hotel, high spec toiletries, hospitality tray and finally the top-class Italian restaurant made this a must-stay for anyone on any sort of trip - cruise stayover, business or weekend away. Don't miss it.
Taxi driver would not drop us off at hotel door as roadworks going on, but this was no drawback to this hotel.
Staff very helpful and friendly
Got back to the hotel at 10.15 and bar was closing
Staff most helpful. Food in resturant excellent. Will stay again.
Wifi very poor had difficulty signing on gave up in the end.it would be difficult if you were disabled to get to the bedrooms as there is no lift.fortunately it did not worry us. The staff were very helpful with our luggage.
The location was excellent, staff very friendly smart and attentive. The rooms where very tastefully furnished and decorated, on par with some London Hotels we have stayed at. We also had the pleasure of eating at the hotel. The food and service was excellent. As you can see we found it hard to find fault.
Our only critisim would be that we had 3 cars between us, and parking is at a premium, which you would expect being so close to Sailing Terminals.
We liked the parking space outside the hotel - very good. Shower good.
If you sleep in the room we had - Venus - there were roadworks literally outside the window that started - when we were off to bed - 10 pm - still up at 1am - 2am ... it was relentless! If we had some communication before hand to let us know we could have made a decision to not go or go. We were there two nights for my daughters graduation. When we asked about it - the staff were knowing of it - but thought it had finished, we asked if it would happen the second night, they said it was further to the west, which unfortunately was not right, we still had the large noisy machinery outside our window, moving up and down the road, loud! The fact that we had the fantastic occasion of my daughters graduation was the main reason for being there. So we needed somewhere to stay. It was just a shame that we were not told about roadworks. Also - because we booked on Booking.com we were told breakfast was not included but would be if we booked direct... not that it bothered us, we went out for breakfast, we did not eat there or go to the bar in the end - which we normally would have done. They had no other rooms as the place was full. We also had our daughter staying in another room - more to the back of the hotel. Their room was better - ie, noise wise! Just us!
The hotel is of an excellent standard...the staff are even better...they can't do enough for you and the little touches make for a very relaxed, very enjoyable stay... I would definitely return
Convenience for shops.
In my opinion, although satisfactory, this hotel should not be rated as 5 star.
Great food for both dinner and breakfast. Really comfortable bed. Highly recommend
friendly staff excellent food good value for money
The friendliness of the staff was fantastic and the car park was a god send.
Nothing worth mentioning!!
Evening meal in restaurant was excellent. Would recommend.
Breakfast was not good
What's not to like? The employees were great, the room was large and extremely nice (the bathroom was to die for), and the location was just perfect for us.
The Wi-Fi in the room was a bit slow, but we suggested that they add a booster.
Very friendly staff especially Harry. He help us to arrange transportation to London. Excellent breakfast.
fantastic room, so comfortable, so clean, would highly recommend. Staff were polite and friendly. Book early for car park space. The food in the restaurant was superb. Again, book early to avoid disappointment.
Comfy bed Shower room was nice Mini bar Good breakfast
Poor parking facilities Staff member smoking outside restaurant on arrival Building works outside which started at 7.30 in the morning. No prior warning of building works on booking bit of a let down to be honest
Nice rooms, good atmosphere.
Too warm, AC too noisy in room.
everything good food pleasant staff excellent room ideal for cruise terminal
Welcoming attitude of staff. Rooms are well decorated and furnished and facilities very good. Had a meal in the restaurant which was very enjoyable. Beds comfortable and good Roman temperature control. Wish we could have stayed longer and will be back. Would recommend to anyone.
The overnight road works near the hotel -bad luck I guess
